I really had no idea this was no longer a ps3 exclusive. I may not buy it now. What is not a surprise though, is that the DVD is holding back gaming yet again. Meaning my ps3 copy is going to look like crap because the limitations of cross platforming. If I still had a 360 I would prefer the game be delayed so that each console has unique development and more time dedicated to it. 2 consoles = half a game for each.
but Im actually pretty impressed with EA as of late. Theyve been focusing on development quality pretty heavily lately. Not just with BC2 but with other games as well. I used to really not like them but theyre ok with me. At least unlike some developers/publishers (IW,Activision), they still realise that quality outweighs hype.
They can take as much time as they need on the servers. Id rather wait to play a good game instead of be plagued with lag and errors.
And it plays like a dated game. Dont get me wrong, I like it and it is really good but by playing it you can tell it wont be big in NA. Id blame this mainly on sega though. Poor release timing and even worse advertising. Its almost like they dont care if it sells. Its a shame. The games great.
Edit: I dont care if PS store updates slow. I dont get frustrated because Im not constantly looking to spend money on useless things.

Steam is one of the very few services I have no problem at all paying for. Im glad to see theyre going towards macs. Steam has really helped me get into pc gaming, mainly because its extremely easy to use. Another plus is that its a free service (except when buying games of course). I really thing steam is the first step to making pc gaming as popular as it used to be.
