Sadly this is true. I still can't believe the Japanese developers think they have to "westernize" their games to get them to sell. If I wanted a Western developed game I'd buy one, not by a JRPG. I still buy old school JRPG's I love the damn things.
If they released it at the same time as Uncharted 3 that would really just mean double the fun for me. I would buy both on the same day without thinking twice about it.

Is it mandatory for a COD game to be on a GOTY list? Because after COD 4: MW it really hasn't earned the right to be on this list. It's not too hard to find a suitable replacement either. Just throw in Kirby or SMG 2.

You know something tells me that when I buy this game I'll just wind up playing Dragon Quest VIII over the weekend. Same thing happened with Halo: Reach and Medal of Honor getting dominated by Persona's 3 and 4.
