I believe the balancing of the classes has gone a long way. You are right, it would have been nice to get the preferred weapon from the start and go RAMBO on the enemies. This "new" approach, I believe, will "force" gamers to explore all the features of all the classes so to fully appreciate the pros and cons of them all.
I am not sure if you got the chance to play the close beta ... my favorite map was BILGARSK BOULEVARD the one with the Mechs (not sure on the nam...
However there is no mentioning to the local multiplayer coop on this review .. not that i need this feature to be sold on this game but it would have been nice to get their perspective on the performances of this mode on normal and 3D TVs.

the scale of the maps and the fact that the game "forces" team play.
I stopped play CoD since the last 2 iterations, when it comes to real combat BF is way funnier .... just being able to drive vehicles makes all the difference of this world.
I am playing KZ3 open beta back to back with KZ2 multiplayer to check which other differences have been implemented.
So far I like the better control responsiveness, especially for the grenades / weapon switch / reload. ...

... their head-start with the 3DS in the new generation of portable gaming devices would put them ahead of SONY. Moreover given the price point they will sell like hotcakes (HelloKitty 3D anyone?) we will have at least 6 Million 3DS sold at the time PSP2 comes out.
NOTE: I do support brute CPU power and immense polycounts hence my preference goes to the PSP2, however it is not possible to Disagree with the above statement.

I have been a PC user since the times of the 8086 CPU, I ran DOS all the way to Windows Vista. I am sick and tired of having to reinstall my OS at least once a year for something that screws up CONSTANTLY. I work in IT and I use XP for my day to day job, which goes fine.

I did not read the article but in my opinion certain exclusive titles should stay exclusive to the original console they were released in the first place.
Imagine a world where every game is available to each and every console and exclusivity is a thing of the past. Consumers at that stage will have to pick a console only for its extra features (Net community and connectivity, better performance, capability to play movies both via media then downloadable ones ... etc).
