Sony did, but the prize was considered to high so they striped it (stupid move) and gave every one a gimp model that sold better.

My opinion is that they should have kept the 60.gb version on the market as a Premium product but I guess they just wanted to squeeze the last buck out of the PS2 before they give it up.

it was awesome, at least in memory.
Didn't try the second one cos my hardware didn't cut it.
I had just bought a new PC when it came out and it looked good,
had never seen so many enemies on screen at once, and they just
kept on coming.
The only reason I haven't bought Res5 is the co op system.
I play games like FIFA and GH with my friends but Res is something I prefer to play alone, it's probably the best ex of how a co op can ruin a genre, for me at least. I like how Naughty Dog tackled it, it is so popular but it would have destroyed the sequel. I think it would do no good to KZ.
