I found both disappointing. Microsoft for their confusing reveal, but I do like how it operates and it looks good head-on. For Sony, I happen to dislike Killzone and Infamous. Knack looks very cool though and the new DS4 looks to be a big improvement.
If they were both to go on sale tomorrow though with what they showed at their respective reveals, I'd get the Xbox. Purely because of Quantum Break and Forza, and the X1's OS looks like it will be nicely put togethe...
Ruffian aren't the "devs behind the series". Realtime Worlds made the 1st game and Ruffian did the 2nd, Ruffian did contain a lot of ex-RW staff though.
Anyway, Microsoft's Victoria studio is rumoured to be developing this.
I really didn't expect Microsoft to bring this franchise back, so glad that they're. One of my favourite open world games.
Plus Quantum Break and Ryse...
I'm going for Xbox One first and will get the PS4 as soon as they release an exclusive I'm interested in.
Wow. Can't believe people are going with this. I'm in the UK and will be getting an Xbox One at launch. The reason Wii U sales shot up, is because retailers are cutting the price. I was almost sucked in to buying one last week, but decided to hold of until W101 comes out.
Cool, loved the originals on Dreamcast.
I would love that to be the case (pun intended)!
We can cancel pre-orders in the UK.
Durango will be a must-have for me, and I'll pick up a PS4 at a later date. Whilst I'm getting pickier in terms of games I'll buy, I can't envision a time when I won't want a console.
GTAV will be released to a much larger install base, so it can be done.
Story quality - WTF?
Like this website - No
Haha! I still remember the 1st time I jumped on one in GTA IV, so crap it's fun.
Not sure when the rot set in, but Gamesradar have steadily got dumber over the last year.
Love this title. It was one of the main reasons that made me want Windows 8.
It's already confirmed that they use a different wireless technology for Durango pads, so you won't be able to use your 360 ones.
Not their fault, as EA have the licenses locked down. It's not hard to find an option file with all the correct kits/names anyway, took me 30 minutes and I was set.
MS didn't "criticize" Sony, Major nelson just commented that it was "one way of announcing it". Tongue in cheek comment, nothing more.
Rare have only made Kinect Sports, which has now been handed over to another studio (Big Park). Unless you know what they're currently working on, then your statement is false.
Cool. I wonder if they'll be able to integrate the Sky app with Xbox TV? Long shot, but would be cool.
To those who downplay this app, consider this scenario. I used to subscribe to Sky's full tv package, but cancelled as I found it not worth the money for the amount of content I watched.
I have a relative who has the full tv package, so can use their details to sign-in. Now I get all Sky channels, plus a few non-Sky ones as well. A lot of 360 ow...
