These guys really do have a point whether you want to believe it or not. They are more having the, "are video games high art?" conversation. Also, their points aren't necessarily absolute proofs or disproofs but they do make sense and provide a stem for further discussion which is not at all being attempted by anyone on this site because a defensive personal attack is way easier.
It is hard to say for sure, but it is probably that it will be less than the PS4's OS. The intermediate OS's job is to manage the needs of either OS and I guarantee you the gaming will take priority over the suspended apps.
You are speaking to a site full of people that would have sung Sony's praises even if they announced a $2000 price tag.
This reveal was about the console and not the games, the e3 presentation will be about the games. And for me, the console is looking fantastic. The OS will run laps around the ps4's and will continue to advance as time goes on. Both consoles have a kinect like peripheral included with the system but xbox is the only system making good use of it.
lmao, the amount of insecure Sony fanboys on this site is too damn high. We knew that the games would be saved for E3 and they confirmed a ton of exclusives which was a huge worry previously. All of the Xbox One's OS functionality is going to run circles around the PS4's that is why they can show off the features they have for as long as they did.
Skyrim is procedurally generated in a lot of spots to save on disk space while a city is almost entirely just rendered from models.
I am a huge fan of 3D platformers but this game looks very underwhelming to me.
I liked it a lot, definitely had a more fluid feel to the combat but many complain that it feels like it's leaning more towards a standard shooter now, which I can kind of see. Overrun is great as well.
Microsoft did not kill them, they were already dying before the acquisition.
Rockstar is playing their strengths. It is going to be hard to outdo the Watch Dogs gameplay demos at this point so might as well load up on cinematic trailers.
Good list, BBT, Dust, and Fez are a must IMO.
I would even add N+ to the list along with all of the free doritios games
Don't worry @stiggs, Jek_Porkins got more dislikes than likes, you are still on N4G.
That is why halo is the only FPS I play on console
I thought the same thing but judgement is going to be the first gears I buy before a price drop since 1. They are really doing a lot with it.
The only thing that is shocking is how much people are freaking out about this... a low RAM consumption is to be expected from such an early demo.
This has become a beta thread
Watch Dogs looks good for many other reasons than the graphics. It is definitely possible that it is the better game too but there is no way it is going to get GTA sales
It's funny how, everywhere else on the internet, there is an even spread of people that are disappointed and satisfied. On here however, people that didn't like the presentation are considered trolls.
@yondaime
With the fact that Halo and Gears recently had a release and how lond it has been, it definitely seems likely.
no way, Sony's best franchises are GT, Uncharted, Ratchet and Clank, and Metal Gear. I can see someone being really into Demon's Souls I guess but the rest of the franchises are weak in comparison to other games in their genre.
The previous method of only using game discs as installs benefited me way more than the changes do now. It wasn't just accepting it, it was buying what benefits you most. I never bought used games or sold my games so I did not care about that at all. I also always have an internet connection so that isn't a worry for me either.
