There were a number of game subscription services before Game Pass
It wasn’t the first
@ fran
The circumstances are the same
I especially didn’t see anybody bringing up this topic when Mikami didn’t work on RE4 remake
Origins overall has the best boss battles in the entire series
It’s a crime that it doesn’t get rereleased
Even if Starfield is well received, how much does that change for Xbox Series? I just don’t see that system suddenly selling so well that it’ll overtake its competition
One game alone can’t change a platform’s overall performance. It’s the lineup that persists throughout this the lifecycle
Can’t believe Nintendo chose a remaster for Cruise N Blast over F-Zero GX
These are titles worth downloading
Wish I could say the say the same for a certain other service
So when Metal Gear Solid 3 gets a remake without its original director you see so many people on social media expressing discontent
Yet when Super Mario RPG remake gets announced without its original director I bet you’ll hardly see anybody talk about that aspect
I don’t think Switch will outsell DS
No audience?
Yookah-Laylee broke Kickstarter records for a reason. Even if the actual game didn’t live up to expectations, you can’t tell me modern audiences have no interest in Banjo-Kazooie.
Not to mention that that the characters’ SSBU reveal was praised by a wide array of people, making the franchise even more well known
If he were talking about if this game were made to be exclusive to Xbox platforms he may have a point. However I...
I always dreaded whenever a Batmobile mission would show up and overstay it’s welcome
For $50 less you can get a Switch and for $50 more you can get a digital PS5
I don’t see the big value here
“In the most neutral position, a consumer will not see this price hike as a problem in the slightest.”
I see a problem with this $1 and $2 price hike
Before a year of Xbox Live Gold($60 a year) & Game Pass($10 a month/$120 a year)) would cost $180, the same as XGPU with $14.99 a month totaling up to $180 a year
After the price hike a year of XBLG($60 a year)and GP($11 a month/$132 a year) will cost $192, while XGPU at $16.99 a mon...
Microsoft really think they slick by making all these Bethesda games exclusive while pretending they won’t do that with Activision Blizzard
I can’t believe Konami has the balls to include NES MG1 and Snake’s Revenge in this
@ Chris
It was the price before yes, but with Game Pass you still needed XBLG for online multiplayer so you’d be paying $180 for both compared to PS+P’s $120
Now it’s $120 vs $132(just GP by itself) or $192(XBLG & GP individually) or $204(with XGPU)
“We’re worried about Vengeance’s comment”
How about Rockstar do the impossible and release multiple games a year
I know it’s unheard of since no other publisher has ever done such a thing, but Rockstar could be a pioneer in the industry if we had various titles from them every year
Why mention PS5 when talking about PS3
The same way how
- Capcom remade RE2-4 without Hideki Kamiya, Kazuhiro Aoyama, & Shinji Mikami
- Activision remade Crash Bandicoot 1-3 without Jason Rubin
- Nintendo remade Kirby Super Star without Masahiro Sakurai
- EA remade Dead Space without Michael Condrey & Bret Robbins
- Konami will remake Silent Hill 2 without Masashi Tsuboyama

“Weird, unless you work for Xbox who cares if it will overtake its competion.”
You see Microsoft buying a publisher like Bethesda and trying to buy Activision Blizzard and have the nerve to ask who cares how they perform against the competition? Microsoft failing to outperform Sony is why they’re making so many drastic moves to begin with
Every console is designed in relation to its competition. You think Nintendo just made Wii ...
