Too late for this opinion.
For everyone who is trying to explain the situation, the problem is not that people have not understood. Is that they do not agree to charge for a remastering on a console that is BC. Sony received praise (at least for me) for remastering old games that didn't work on PS4, but there is no further explanation to justify remastering a game that is only two years old and that you can play "for free" on PS5 .
Or give the game for free as a graphical update or stop...
Sony is making this decision easier.
Simple. Sony should give this remaster for everyone who paid for Spider-Man or stop making remasters from a game that don't need it.

It doesn't matter who owns what, as long as the best platform is not excluded from multiplatform games.
Microsoft would earn a lot more if it released everything on PlayStation. There are no exclusive games on XBox, everything is already on PC anyway.
This is a big acquisition for Microsoft's force. I would say they just took 10 million potential PS5 buyers and sent them to the PC.

Nope! XBox still don't have exclusive at all and probably will continue this way. All Microsoft's games are on PC.
All this move is to prevent games from reaching the PlayStation. XBox players won nothing, Microsoft only made PlayStation and Nintendo consoles players lose several multiplatform games.

How so? "Sony camp" was always pro exclusivity. But 'M$ camp' has always spoken about how this is anti-consumer and harm the gaming community. We can already see this speech changing without having to look very far.

I know PS5 is a success and will sell millions but I would not bet that a generation with more expensive hardware and software will sell more than the previous generation cheaper.

It could be. But all games coming in the next years are already being made without Microsoft so, they are not Game Pass Quality.
