wow, they really didn't turn up the brightness for the PS3 captures. I guess this is their way of trying to get mainstream people to think PS3 is far below the other platforms
I think people hate on this game so much due to it being hailed as bringing all this innovation to FPS (numerous console reviews in the early Halo days) when it was merely tweaking Half-Life and mods into a sci-fi console friendly game. Every PC Gamer I know vehemently hated on this game, until they played 2v2 at some friend's dorm, and then it was raised to the level of "it's alright..."
had my ps2 working since launch until I threw it away when I got the PS3 last year. My coworker had to return his 360 twice since launch.
best part about the series was the kungfu mod. If you have the PC version lying around look it up, waaayyy ahead of its time. Pretty crazy detailed hand to hand fighting, stick fighting, complete with slow mo killer moves and sexy camera angles for finishers. Just loved backflipping off lamp posts and throwing a kick combo onto a enemy and have him fly into another. That mod extended the game's life far longer than it should have had life :P
I think he was referring to posting a video cap of Qore, just like scanning pages and pages of Gamepro and EGM.
it's not really the fact it's a fad, it's the fact that this really isn't a game. There's no "quest/mission" mode that gives you a clear path to goals. From everything I've read and seen, WiiFit had potential and Nintendo just didn't go all the way with it. What a shame.

its not a demo. Its a standalone product which is the prologue towards the upcoming GT5. Agree with what other people said about what a demo is ^
cyberconnect pulls through again?? It looks gorgeous in the trailers but I've learned to keep expectations low for video game hype. However, the developers have done a pretty awesome job with the previous PS2 naruto games, tons of hours of play for me and I was playing the Japanese version without understanding the majority of it! From their pedigree I think this could be the best anime game on any system!

previews of this game have devs talking about boss battles. Essentially its a sidescroller where you can move all 4 limbs of your character and give them moods for kicks. They will include a ton of levels to make it appeal to regular side game people (4 player co op offline and online), and the added bonus is certain parts of levels you can manipulate and create things in to get past obstacles.

look at past fighting games: The super short character is usually a joke character (think Gon from Tekken). No one really likes fighting against them, its a pain. In my mind, whoever gets Vader gets the better end of the deal.
i have no love for Sony sports, but they are not using MONEY to pay for reviews. They simply are choosing not to give EGM pre-release games. Ad space and money have nothing to do with it.
Europe is not a country, its a continent. When you release things for the U.K., it is specific regarding that. In Germany, many things are released in German. When France does marketing, it is very different than that of the Netherlands. I am including Europe in the reply as a general area regarding countries. That's why we see posts with the U.K. sales charts, and that's why mobile carriers care what French people are using for their cell phones.
more people need to look at jackdoe's comment, these companies aren't pulling advertising, they simply are not sending in preview copies of their games (which apparently EGM feel is their god-given right to get their hands on every pre-release game from every major company).
