the switch proved that march works with the right marketing and a great launch game. i'm guessing they have both if they release in march which the rumors are pointing towards.
You do realize Sony had the most exclusives last year by a large margin it was literally 30+ to 5 when compared to Microsoft. Not really coming from a fanboy standpoint but at least get the information you're saying correct. Also an acquisition of EA or valve going to one platform would hurt gaming as a whole.

Breath of the wild is hugely inspired by Shadow of the Colossus, from the stamina gauge all the way down to the gliding parachute, even the climbing and the sense of anxiety to see if you would reach the top or not,which all is found in shadow of the Colossus. The feeling of exploration that the open-world gave you in Shadow of the Colossus is something all open World Games try to replicate. it's not necessarily a bad thing but goes to show how influential the game is
