Back in the day on N64(probably the best console from them) had the craziest FPS's. Turok, PerfectDark, Goldeneye Duke Nukem, Doom, Quake.
Now we have gimmick games and a system with graphics that rival PSP and PS2 but with better resolution.
As for E3! Nintendo wasn't even there.

Bioshock was a 360 exclusive but its now coming on PS3 this November
FF was a Ps3 exclusive now its on 360.
