I like the concept, it could, IMHO, be used in switching gears in racing games (moving a finger on the back the same way an actual gearbox should move), could also be used in QTEs and other nifty mechanics (sixaxis is not that hot, but folklore was effin' fantastic with the folk snatching) so I wouldn't rule it off as just a gimmick as it might have some potential (as the vita is already showing).

I don't see what the big deal is. another site which I like very much has given battlefield 3 an 8 (gamesradar) but it was fair and informative but did not deter me from buying the game. uncharted 3 is the same, i will buy it regardless of the little to none number of sites that review it poorly, as the majority are already good.

To be honest, the game appears rather shitty, but there are a few reasons that I think that this first arabic foray into modern gaming is good.
Most important of these reasons is that arab game developing has no infrastructure whatsoever, if you tell someone to design a hybrid car without knowledge of wheels and mechanics and whatnot, even if he has the proper tools (in this case the game engine and many tutorials to game design) he would certainly put out a weak product. it ...
I'd say that even though IW is as lazy as hell, the current graphics for CoD games more than do their purpose, they are HD (almost) and look nice in motion.
Of course it pales very much compared to C2, KZ3 or BF3 but I guess it does its part.
What isn't acceptable though is delivering rehashed gameplay and cliched stories in these games, also bad multiplayer is a huge downer for this series.

This videogame generation is really heating up, I wonder who will take the most GoTYs considering U3 and ME3 are both coming this year. Having only a PS3 I am definitely rooting for my exclusives but I have to admit the first 2 ME games are really nice and longer than Uncharted, though uncharted is more action oriented.

..sometimes games with a budget no larger than a 1000$ can be more entertaining or enjoyable than these small-country-budget games.
on the other hand, a large budget can gather a wonderful bunch of talents onto a project.

I think xbox owners have a right to like their games when they look good, I always brag to my friends how good U2 and KZ3 look. so boast if you have what backs it up, and the above trailer certainly looks nice :)
also about 60% of multiplats look a bit better on 360, so I don't think xbox owners would say that graphics don't matter when their version is slightly superior than ours.

UTTER BULLSHIT. any final fantasy, Metal Gear Solid can easily hold that crown. Final Fantasy VII & MGS4 especially come to mind. COD:BloPs was so cliche I actually cringed in disgust before the ship mission started (the bit where he's says lets go AND ALL THE SUDDEN THE MUSIC PLAYS).
