The way I see this it comes down to how much Live (or PSN, or Wii Online) wants to be a gaming portal and how much it wants to be a social networking platform.

I think we can all agree the sexuality has no impact or affect on your ability to play games, therefore as a gaming portal sexuality is irrelevant.

However the more Live (and HOME etc..) want to become social networking and interaction platforms, the more they will have to deal with these kind of issues. O...

It's not crazy to leave behind an obsolete technology such as UMD Disks.

Digital distribution is the future of gaming, particularly portable gaming and media as we have seen with the iPhone and iTunes/ the App Store.
Sony already has the method of digital distribution in the PSN store -as a compromise to those people who will have bought UMD versions of the newest games why not have a website where you input a unique code on the UMD and they give you a code to download ...

Why are devs so scared of making a game as good as it can be? That surely is what everybody wants, lets push the boundaries, lets see exactly what is possible? Not hide behind these childish 'it will only be as good as'...'we can't make it any better than'...

When these comments come out it just sounds like they are simply out to rinse gamers...'We can't be bothered with this to be honest, just going to do the minimum we have to so no-one will complain too much, then get it out...

Afrika as an area of Home that you can literally just walk/ take a plane to - complete multiplayer across the planes as we take photos, join up to ride together in Jeeps, talk to eachother to share info on where the best animals are, transmit photos to our own room in a gallery...

Maybe...but leaks have always been used as a form of guerilla advertising, a few carefully released pictures sparks interest and keeps people interested until the actual release.

It also starts a debate, 'I want this...', 'I hope it has this...' it's a very clever way of gauging public opinion.

With the recent delays PS3 users have had to suffer this is also a way of rewarding the faithful, 'Yes you have been kept waiting, but look at what you can have...soon'

For my money the PSP 'suffers' in the same way that the PS3 does, it is so much more than just a games console that it gets knocked by the hardcore gaming fans and misunderstood by your average joe public.

The capabilities of the console are being exploited far more in Japan (TV capability, more concerted use of the camera and mic, killer RPG titles that never see the light in US or Europe)and the result is consistently outselling the DSL recently.

The future lo...

When you look at the list of games in development you can see his point, most major hitters for this year on 360 seem to be coming from inside MGS:

Out in 2008:

Lost Odyssey
Ninja Gaiden 2

Announced:

Banjo-Kazooie: Nuts & Bolts
Fable 2
Gears of War 2
Halo Wars
Too Human
Viva Piñata: Trouble in Paradise

I know this is a theme with the 360 that has worked well up...

Based on this subsidised sales model you will have to sign up for a contract then and there in the shop, therefore as Scooby said before, you are locked into a £45 a month, 18 month contract.

You could do this is you were to buy the 3G iPhone on Pay-as-you-go but I would guess you're still going to be paying £269+ for that.

'This is the iPhone you've been waiting for'

The feature list now is much closer to the expectations we all had when the iPhone was first announced, adding Exchange support is a big plus, as is the GPS, saves me buying a Sat Nav! The 3rd party apps they showed also really got my attention, plenty of potential there!

Great News on the prices for the UK, that makes it a must have for me, plus the fairly certain knowledge that you'll be able to upgrade for free aga...
