Thanks ipwnall, i'll give that a try. I'm having problem even in sp campaign. Frames in some areas go from 30-90, very erratic.
My PC is no slouch either, Q9550 @ 3.6ghz 8GB ram 5870 @950/1300 2x150GB Velociraptors in RAID0, so these framerate issues are unacceptable. On my oc'd 5870 with higher voltages the fan is barely audible and the highest temps I've seen in game are 55-60C, which tells me that it's barely even touching the GPU.

I used to love these games and have them all. I don't currently own a PS3 but if there were ever another Soul Reaver game, I would litteraly run down to Best Buy or whatever to buy one.

As far as being an entirely unique IP, not so much. Darksiders is very much like Soul Reaver and the Legacy of Kain games. That's actually why I like it so much.

I agree. I admit that I was one of those "pirates" that downloaded the beta build. It's fun as hell but crashes a lot.
I was going to buy the game anyways and just downloaded in on a lark. More like a demo than a full game with some features and dx11 not included.
Want this game even more now!
