5400 rpms isn't bad if ps4 uses sata 3 which i am pretty sure it does if has usb 3.0 already.
They say ps4 has a weak cpu and a weak gpu yet ps4 produces over two teraflops of compute power. They are just pissed because both Microsoft and Sony shut the door in their face. They gonna say the same thing about xbox or the next ipad actually they already said enough about the ipad when apple said it was twice as powerful as tegra processor haha.
They need to lose more revenue so intel can buy them out and use their gpu patents in their cpus.

What good is a high spec console if developers don't create a new graphics engine and instead use an outdated one. I agree we need new consoles however there is still potential with these consoles if only every developer had a new game engine to release their games on.
Maybe its similar to the playstation vita cpu and gpu. the vita has a arm 4 core cpu and a power vr 4 core gpu and obviously plays ps3 games but with lower resolution. However the xbox720 and ps4 could have a setup like this with 8 core cpu and 8 core gpu that don't have to be mobile parts but desktop parts.

This console generation is so old if it does get remade it better be saved for the next gen systems. We got cellphones and tablets with four core processors and more ram than ps3 and 360 combined.
The LG Optimus 2x was the worlds first dualcore smartphone and do 1080p with hdmi cable and play games. Galaxy S III and HTC endenvor are coming soon with quad core processors that can do 1080p. This makes our ps3 and 360 look very very sad its about time we get a new system.
They should announce ps4 and xbox720 these current systems have way to many problems and are way to old, patches, disc space, development issues, lack of 1080p. Cellphones have more ram than these systems and have quadcore processors and that's when you know ps3 and 360 are aged.
Final fantasy versus 13 isn't out yet therefore is absolutely no room in this generation for final fantasy 7 remake. this generation is over its being extended because of Kinect and Move and sony/microsoft want to regain their lost profits back.

I bought 360 and ps3 because they are both very powerful systems that were up to date at the time but I can't accept the wii at the price it is because they are just selling a repackaged gamecube.

The playstation 4 doesn't have to be cell based to be powerfull a good example is the next generation psp it has an arm 4 core cpu and a powervr 4 core gpu. they have stated that ps3 games can easily be ported to NGP. Honestly I have to say as the xbox controller is more comfortable than daulshock but it feels like you have a lack of control over the game. the dualshock to me feels smaller and more responsive and I have to say its way better to play fighting games. when streetfighter 4 came out a lot of people complained about the 360's controller it was just unplayable. I rather have the dualshock it good for all genres where as the 360 is more for shooting and adventure games.
