Kinda funny to see Jim Ryan and Phil Spencer downplaying their own platform talking about how weak they are. When in other times they brag their ass of and do everything they can to twist anything in a positive view for their brand.

I think the recession will help Xbox take som market share. A cheaper console and Game pass instead of having to buy games for 70$, is right in time. I like Playstation and the Ps5. But having a more expensive console and on that releasing PSVR 2 in this economy is tough. But we will se what happens.

You have subscriptions in music and videos that has been around alot longer than gaming subscriptions. Has Spotify för exampel led to people are buying more songs and albums? Has Netflix made so more people buy Movies and seasons of TV shows? Maybe in the beginning, but now?
I feel like the gaming industry is going to crash! Its to greedy and always trying to push bounderies of what people would accept. When the economy as a whole is going down i think we are set up for a reset.

I think they are gonna buy the rights to have some big third party game coming on day 1 for gamepass this autumn.
They sell everything they produce, Europe got a big shipment and therefore it jumped in sales!
They should also remove violence so that pacifists doesnt feel butt hurt!
I dont think gamegass will increase that much. But every game MS makes will have season pass, advertising, Microtransactions. Or try to make back the money in some other way.
Not a fan of any of the subscriptions. I dont see it beeing sustainable in the long run.
I have a fear that all games will be hollowed out, and to get the full experience every game will have season passes and microtransactions above the subscription price.
And that will lead to a new gaming crash ala 1983!
Everyone is chasing the trend, and fps single player games isnt the trend anymore. Kinda sad the industry cant be more diversified in what games they make.
If they want to damage Russia for their war they should put in a update that makes Windows stop working in the country!
