I finally finished the game and have almost all of the trophies and I had a great time playing this...some of the graphics are really good and some are just OK, but this game definitely falls into the 8's and up catagory as far as review scores should go....have played a lot worse games that received better scores ....ridiculous :) Long live Duke....bring some DLC next :)
I actually like the game. Is it better than the other Duke Nukem titles? Of course not...My favorite Duke title was Duke Nukem: Time to Kill and I liked Duke Nukem 3D for PC too, but this game is definitely not the steaming pile that some folks are claiming it to be. I have really enjoyed it and think it desevers better than what it has been getting as far as review scores go.
These reviewers are retarded. The game has to be taken for what it is. It's Duke Nukem...and it has been in limbo for years. If you liked the previous Duke Nukem titles, then you will like this...it is more of the same stuff. It is like stepping back in time and playing a game from the 90's with upgraded graphics. What people need to do is to accept this game for what it is and not to have some unrealistic expectation that this game is going to be the be all, end all game that changes everything. This was my favorite too. I also am picking up my preorder of the Ballz of Steel Edition when it launches on Tuesday. All of these reviews out there seem to be forgetting what duke is all about....not technological advances or superior graphics, but plain and simple, mindless fun. Blasting aliens and pig cops and then saying something crude about it, while trying to save a stripper....or three LOL. I would love to see Time to Kill released on the PSN as well.

The bad thing about the download from the PS Store though is that any gore/blood/extreme violence in the gameplay footage will more than likely be edited out....that is what they did with the God of War III footage ...but all the info was there in sweeeet HD........ I hope they floor everyone with what they show :)
Finishing up the Evil side of Infamous 1 now (beat it as the Hero when it first came out....being evil is kind of fun lol).......can't wait for this :)
Uncharted is more than likely the only game I will be getting with it if that is the lineup. Maybe on the wipeout and golf.
This game deserves scores from 8.5 to 9.5 easily. The people that hate it either have not played it or suck at it.
The singleplayer, coop, and multiplayer are different than the old Socoms, but not too different....the game has just evolved and is a lot of fun. Socom is not dead by any means. Socom 4 is just a step in the right direction for the series.
It is a fresh take on an old franchise and it deserves a lot more respect than it has been getting...
Socom 4.....should be #1 on the list....even with the bias reviews out there....the game is amazing. I have played the hell out of the singleplayer campaign and missions while the PSN has been under maintenance...Highly underrated game. Ironically enough, one of the best reviews for it came from none other than G4TV...watch the video review here:

I still play games based on how fun they are. There was a time when I actually let reviews help me decide whether or not I would buy a game, but those days are long gone. Reviews today generally mean nothing to me. I look at gameplay footage, try the Demo or Beta (If possible), go by my gut feeling and if I like what I see and how I am feeling about it, I buy it.

I have it and a 6 is way too low...the game is just fine.....No need to say RIP because the online multiplayer and Coop will be full for years to come. The singleplayer story mode and missions are a lot of fun as well. Don't get sucked in with these half-assed, amateur reviews. 8.5 to 9.5 range easily.
The Socom 4 Beta has been fun for me and a lot of others....the newest edition of Qore on the PSN shows a lot of the singleplayer and coop that we haven't had a chance to play and it looks like the game is going to be pretty tight....very excited about this game and can't wait for the 19th. No more greening up....at least for now....but, that means you don't have to wait on AFK knuckleheads anymore either......sort of nice actually

been playing it the past 2 days.....glad they did this... looks great and nice to play it with the dual shock....now if the ICO Collection would get here we'd be in business :)
I think it works really well in Socom 4, Killzone 3, Tiger Woods: The Masters 2012, and The Fight: Lights Out....I am looking forward to Sorcery and Resistance. It works really well for shooters (not with the sharpshooter attachment, I haven't tried that, just by itself) It is akin to using a mouse a keyboard and I have really taken a liking to it.
My kids love The Shoot, Time Crisis: Razing Storm (especially the Dead Sea Pirates part),and even Eye Pet and Start the P...
