The Xbox 360 came out in 2005, and the PS3 and Wii in 2006. A 2011 release would mean the Xbox 360 was out 6 years and the Wii and PS3 were out for 5, which seems about right.
Gaming Generations don't last much longer than that. I mean, Xbox 1 came out in 2001, and the 360 came out in 2005, only 4 years.
