This made my head hurt! I'm convinced some of these folks have Stockholm syndrome.
Ha this shits just keeps on rolling. Days Gone, Dreams , DS, MLB the Show, Judgement and Concrete Genie were all great games. You may not have liked them but enough do, in fact I'd say they outnumber the detractors by a mile! As far as TLOU2 and Ghosts of Tsushima becoming obsolete because of PS5, did TLOU not do great business with the PS4 looming?!?! No Sony supports its consoles up until the end with amazing games!
Also PlayStation has the biggest install base of fan...
Loved every minute of it. My first play through was like an awesome HBO series. Major characters died, some turned and so many twists and turns and sacrifices. Very riveting game!
I could've sworn there was an article on here a while back stating PS5 would release with a base model and a Pro model with more bells and whistles. Maybe I just smoked too much and imagined it!
How's they get a pic of me?!?!
They will when the next PS exclusive rolls around. Then they'll hide behind "free speech " or "I just didn't like it" after not even playing said game. I can see it now "TLOU2 is overrated " or "they shouldn't have made a sequel " or "I found it boring " again after never playing it. GHosts of Tsushima will be the same!
Because different people like different things that's why DS got so many nominations! You actually think everyone should line up with the views of those who dislike a game. How is it the most disappointing GOTY?!!' The negative reviews paled in comparison to the positives and it's been a success. If that was the case I'd never played HZD, GOW, Days Gone, DS Hell even Spider-Man got shot on all because they aren't on a particular console.
I know you'l...
Absolutely and the "playing the games" is a big part because most of the hate that's levied against games like Days Gone and more recently DS is from people who haven't actually played the games. Not to say all that played them enjoyed them but it's not hard to see the usual suspects on here downplaying certain companies games.
It's just sad and again I haven't been disappointed in a game since Alpha Protocol in 09. Well that's not entirely...
Jesus there's no end! $24 bucks for Xmas themed costumes. Why not just include them in the game as a free update much like GT Sport?!?! This is why so many hate season passes or packs/microtransactions or loot boxes. Just release a full good game and it'll find an audience.
Save the "im entitled " or "devs don't make enough money " why then do studios do just fine without loads of extras you have to buy on top of the game! GOW, HZD, Days Gone...
The games I played this year RE2, Metro Exodus, Days Gone, Control, Borderlands 3 and DS were all incredible! I played none of these other games so I don't have any disappointments this year. I don't play games I know I won't like. It's easy to find out info.
Yea it's easy to point them based on their comments or their user names because they've been in every DS comment sections!
Days Gone is incredible (one of the best open worlds I've seen) the Hordes are freaking scary as hell and it's up there with the Nemesis System from Shadow of Mordor as far as I hope more devs use similar mechanics in future games.
Unless like the others (which there are many and by all intents and purposes it was a success) and enjoys DS. You gotta remember the positive reviews greatly overshadowed the negative and the fanboys!
I haven't played one since 3. With they would do a GOW with Gears.
Wasn't expecting this to come to PS4. I may give this a go! Was this on GamePass? Thought that was the best route for devs to go.
At least I guessed right!
Resident Evil was a game changer! I love horror, grew up in the 80's watching slashers, werewolf movies etc but I'd never been creeped out by a game. That is until RE.
Another game that changed the game was Metal Gear Solid. I'd never experienced such a cinematic game. It also was what started the stealth genre. Both were synonymous with PlayStation
I checked out after the Wii after being a lifelong Nintendo fan but I came back for the Switch. It's a cool little console/handheld. I've already finished Isolation years ago so this doesn't interest me but there's enough that do.
Exactly look at Black Flag and compare it to Uncharted 4. Or hell compare it to AC Origins/Odyssey!
They're used to going without and think everyone should as well!
