The Last of Us is a great game, I just don't think it has much in the way of replay value. The beginning of that game was absolutely incredible and probably one of the best openers ever.
The graphical downgrade didn't hamper the game for me at all. As a lifelong New Yorker, I couldn't help but be impressed with how they recreated the little bit of the city that I saw.
Every time I see a well thought out reply here, I'm like, "Whoa, did I really just read that here?"
Play the game for yourself and don't let any opinions sway you before you do. Personally, I can't understand the hate the game is getting. I enjoyed my time with it and while it's not perfect it was still very fun to play. And as someone living in NYC, the recreation of it here is incredible.

If the Xbox One were killing the PS4 in sales yet didn't have as good a game library, I wouldn't be trumpeting first place so hard. Just saying.
The Order had many, many apologists claiming it was an incredible experience. Many of them right here on N4G!
You know, the second time around, the Halo 5 campaign actually wasn't that bad. It's still a bit of a headscratcher but still an interesting lead in to the next game, which I'm REALLY hyped for after seeing the post credits video for Legendary difficulty.
And you're right about the MP, it's absolutely incredible stuff. Really addictive and I keep coming back to it no matter how badly they whip me.
It sucks that feature had to get lost. Instead of swapping discs, I'd have downloaded them once straight from the disc and I'd have been okay with the daily check in. But nooooooo...
I'm also finding that I'm preferring to play stuff that doesn't require much from me, things like Lumines Live and Pac Man CE DX+. Outlast and Alien Isolation are good too because they're too terrifying to play for long stretches.
I'm at a point in my life where it's simply too difficult to game the way I want to.
For starters, I've got two kids, I've gotta be mindful of what I play in front of them as well so guess what? GTA V is only gonna get chipped away at in the wee hours of the night.
But then the question arises... why play that when I could be getting my rank up in Halo 5's Warzone? Or losing myself in the world of Assassin's Creed: Black Flag? Or get...
I couldn't even bring myself to finish this and I LOVED the 5th one.

I actually just saw an EA Access code on sale for $22.99 last week but I moved too slow on that. Next time, I'll grab it but even at $30, it's a steal.
Preordered the Digital Deluxe edition earlier this week. Couldn't stomach the idea of holding off while everyone else went at it on Warzone without me.

I was busy setting up a breach on a barricade and I swear to you one of the bombers was standing right next to me waiting for me to notice him before blowing himself up. That's definitely what it felt like anyway. I'm surprised he didn't wave bye-bye first LOL
