Thanks for posting this; it works just fine now. Deleted the data, reinstalled the patch and played for over an hour in and out of water.
You don't have to wait. Just go in and delete the game data (leave your save data alone) for Skyrim. It's listed on Bethesda's blog and it worked like a charm. I played for over an hour today in and out of water just fine. Game on!
Same here. It crashed on me twice. I'm running on a launch model fat 320gb (if that helps). First time I've played in 3 months and it freezes twice...
I love the books and show but this looks awful. So slow and sloppy. Hopefully they can ramp it up before May 12th. I figured it was safe hands with Atlus but maybe not.
Great Article, thank you for taking the time and exploring. I haven't been on Home in a long time for the very reasons you mention. I was very curious about the overhaul but not enough so to put the time in. Coincidently, I've been throwing all of my time into Obilivion and the Shivering Isles to finish so I can play Skyrim! I know they are loosely related but I'm prone to abandoning old games once improved versions have been released.
He's like the WOW kid at the convention yapping about the hammer-guy. Good for him; it's nice to be passionate about something. It would be cool if Activision hooked him up with something; even if it's his appearance in the next game as someone to be completely ripped apart.
I'm still not paying over $40 but that looked awesome!
This is all GTA's fault. I guarantee there is a well-to-do middle class reporter somewhere that will not read the full story but will reference it when discussing the dangers of video games and how it killed 3 people. Wait and see.
Nice try but your desperation in having the last word led you here to be a laughing stock. Your typing mechanics are on par with most public high schools but your voice is definitely adolescent. You've handed all the power and the "win" as you put it, to this "noob", Spartacus-whatever. Well done. His coup de gras was pushing you into another forum entirely (internet) with your anger that you mistakenly tried to disguise as pride. He won...and you made it happen. ...
In all of my local malls (Phoenix) since this generation of gaming started, every boutique that's sold anything gaming has been setup like a MS store. Wall to wall and floor to ceiling. There's something to be said for wanting to move popular merchandise but I've never heard of a store burying the merchandise they can't sell; that's advertising 101 stuff. A lot of it is Sony's fault; lack of effective ads but advertising is one area they cut early to try and stave o...
And a pretentious tw@t. Build something out of milk cartons and keep your superstition to yourself.
Both MS & Sony learned a lot from Nintendo!
The eye actually does have a video create package for free @PS store that offers a lot of really cool effects. You could make feature-length videos, movies, porn with George Lucas style magic (minus the new trilogy, of course). Check it out! But beyond that, it takes up space in my game drawer.
That looked fun as hell. This looks like the kind of thing to pull in my family. They would totally dig playing that and enjoy the workout effects. I would never pay for online but a console with Kinect may be in my future. The only reason I never wanted a Wii was no hd; but that's not the case with the new slim60. Maybe...
The only glitches I'd ever come across on PS3-MW2 were the very early on care package speed boosts. Since that first update to fix this I've either been very fortunate or its fixed.
I feel about glitching the way I feel about steroids in pro sports; I'm all about separate leagues and I'm all about separate game types with zany modes: low gravity, unlimited ammo, shoot through everything etc...That was part of the fun of golden-eye multi-player; setting up what you wanted, how yo...
+ $79 for WiFi + $50 for HD DVD + $40/year for membership + $20/year to extend the warranty for when it bricks on me again = where does it all end?!?
Is it me or does it look very similar to the Xbox 360 On button? Either a subtle jab at the RROD (the ring is mostly gray except for the GOW red color) or a sign of Sony-Contracted developers possibly reaching out to the Xbox audience in the future?
You must remember that Oblivion almost didn't come to PS3 at all. Bethesda's done a lot of work with Microsoft and there's something to be said for being loyal to a fruitful partnership.
That being said, I am a PS3 person and it does chap the ass a bit. I ought to have waited for the GOTY edition; the bugs would have been worked out and I'd have all the DLC for roughly the same price as the game. Although update 1.5 has the game running like a dream! And I...
