For your information Hardware bricked all the time doing Firmware updates ,i worked for bestbuy and we always get a couple of exchanges around those times rather it be 360s,wii's or ps3's.

I never liked the metal gear series .the stories were too retarded for my blood and the camera angle choice REALLY .
Anyway i'm not hating on ur precious hero ,i respect your love for the characters but for Me Metal Gear Solid never did anything for me.
I played all of them only finish MSG 4 which was just a bad interactive movie,i even fell asleep during one of the cut scenes.

I already played the original NG2 so i won't be picking this one up But i strongly recommand this game for those of you who haven't played it yet.
As much as i love God of War ,IMO NG Beats his ass any day.Anyone can beat GOW but only the chosen few will beat NG2 or NGS2 .
