SO was some of the most fun in a long time. The varied quests were so much fun and I really enjoyed the humour and references.
I think this may be the best month that Xbox or Playstation has had.
Nice. Seems like every few days now a new game is being released as BC
For the first time as an xbox one owner this has me kind of worried. I always knew it lagged in sales behind the PS4 but I was okay with that. IT still sold enough consoles that it had exclusives coming out for it and great 3rd party support. But now will sales slow down and 3rd parties begin to focus more on PC and PS4 only?
Bring on Amular: Reckoning, Vanquish, Dead Space 2 and Split/Second and I will be happy. All games I wanted too but never played before the xbox one came out.
I don't see this being such a huge impact on Xbox One hardware sales. You will still have your average consumer buying or playing the games on the Xbox One as they don't have medium to high end gaming PC's. Out of my 15 friends who has an xbox One to game on, one of them has an Alienware gaming PC.
As a xbox one only gamer I would love to have a Ps4, primarily for naught dog's games but I have a huge backlog as is.
I agree with your review for the most part. Heart of Stone was one of the best DLC's ever and made the full price purchase of the season pass worth it, just for this.
I found the caretaker boss battle great. It took a bit more strategy than some others and you needed patience. It was different but in a good way.
The runes did not make as big of an impact on gameplay as I thought they would and I decided not to even use them.
The batmobile was great and was a nice puzzle feature. The bat tank part was depended on too much.
The best batmobile parts were driving around fast, chasing Humvees and shooting missiles at them. Not the strafing/shooting of drones part.
I don't get the hate for Origins. Yes the map was redundant and the fighting system was timed a bit differently and had to take some getting used too but other than that it was great. I think it had the best story and boss battles of the three.
The three sisters still haunt my dreams.
I envy you in a way Bloop. I wish I could replay this whole game again for the first time. Some of the story choices and outcomes were amazing.
Yes and it will be totally worth it. Blood and Wine and the previous expansion Heart of Stone is around $25 for both and they are the same length as many regular games giving you 10-20 hours of gameplay each.
I was late to the Gwent party as well but after awhile I had to play it and now love just going around playing Gwent with people. 226 hours later and I can still randomly play this game.
Heart of Stone was amazing like the rest of the game. It wasn't just some after thought DLC like most games. That is why I cannot wait for Blood and Wine. This is the first time in a very long time I paid full price for DLC and it is more than worth it (Looking at you Arkham Knight)
Thank you Herbalistic for that level headed comment. Buy the one that has the games you're most interested in, your friends have and that has the features that interest you.
Well Deserved!
Witcher 3 for me. The story and side quests were much more engrossing. Couldnt wait to see what would happen next.
If youre coming from an xbox 360 and getting a ps4, you cant ask for any more than this. Tons of hours of gameplay right there.
Ryse is definitely next. Bought it for $10 last month and just got. Way better game than I expected. Worth $60, definitely not but for $10 it was definitely well worth it.
