Dude the first SOCOM came out over 9 years ago and the servers are still up. Are you that ignorant or are you just that stupid. Sony does not stop supporting games unless no one and I mean no one logs in and uses them. I doubt you would be playing a game for that long anyway.
The warhawk headset is one of the cheapest and best headsets out there. It is light charges in less than one hour. last a long time between charges. But I think this one is going to trump anything out there. I recommend it to everyone. You don't want to play SOCOM without a headset. Because you need it for team strategy. SOCOM is not for noobs.

Maybe they are trying to Hype HALO allready since they are getting ready to launch another title and get our money again. Yes we are suckers for buying a HALO game every 8 months or so.

Why do people always bring up rising costs and such. It really does not cost that much to make PS3 or Xbox360 or Wii's. The consumer is not aware that these companies buy in bulk and therefore save alot more than the average consumer. If they were not making profit. SOCOM is the best online 1st and 3rd person shooter out there. It's leaps and bounds better than COD4 and MGO4. There is no one that can take that title. Its freaking awesome.
I think everyone is more upset at the fact that FF might of got delayed over and over again because XBOX was in negotiations with SE about releasing it on their console. Also that it might be gimped and that we have to wait for the 360 to be finished as well so they can be released at the same time in NA and Europe. I for one I am over it.
