I just woke up and finished with the full format on my ps3 and it was looking good thru the scenes and i hit where it says Grand Theft Auto IV
and it glitched. im saddened....im calling gamestop not to make sure i can get another copy today.

well in the middle of the night you try everything you can because the game stores arent open and you would expect it isnt a bad disc. and usually blogging about a problem will flock others to see "hey im not the only one that has this problem" not start flame wars.
FUD??. ill say this. i hate microsoft and even more xbox. i was hoping i'd find a few more people with this problem other then me and the guy that posted.
im hoping its the disc. but its too late now to reverse formatting :-\ and hopefully the next disc isnt a screw up also.
came home around 12.30 after getting my limited edition copy of gta 4 for my ps3at gamestop. installs fine i just can't get through the intro movie. id hear a slight pause in audio and the screen freezes audio keeps playing i cant even get the menu when you push the ps button. tried many times restarting deleting and now im doing a full format on the drive. Saddness :-( i contacted rockstar games to see what is going on.

i just got off the phone with rockstar games customer service and when i told them i was having problems in the 1st scene they took my name and said we are working on a fix and will email you as soon as we have the fix out.
