Vive is just too expensive to go mainstream on a tech that still needs a lot of work. One company losing money is not an end all situation. Psvr is still doing well, and last I checked so is rift. Though titanfall 2 got decent reviews it could not get out of the shadow of the failed original titanfall. Also there was tons of games released that month that year. Gears 4 and mafia 3 sold well. There was also various VR games like until dawn and eve Valkerie all of which sold well. It’s a risk to release your game among many others but like I said if the game is solid it will sell. Titanfall May have improved on the original but it was too late people lost interest.
I call bs. They weren't expecting so much attention on the game, so decided to fix a number of flaws. No matter how many games launch in the same window the best games will always sell and be on top. After watching the full gameplay demo I cam see why its delayed till next yr. Just dont release it in Feb because that's when another batch of great games release. Unless of course your confident your game can hold its own.
I played wolfenstein new order on vita using remote play. It was so cool. Always hoped for a vita version. I thought despite some downgrades it might have been alright. But guess well never know.
If it relies on streaming that's going to be a huge mistake. History has also shown the industry can only sustain 3 consoles and PC anything more and someone is going to lose. Usually it's the one who made one too many mistakes.

This game seems to be heavily inspired by destiny. As such when it launches destiny may be in trouble. It looks really cool.
