Not sure why this was written. (Edit)The article, I mean lol.
Makes sense.
This is the souls-like I have been able to spend real time in. Capra always stalled me in DS1. Also rage quit DS3. Elden ring, however, has been teaching me to be ok with all the road blocks. I think after this I will have finally achieved enough souls-like zen to go back and make real progress in the older, and admittedly more difficult, games. I was not interested at all in elden ring before launch. I'm a convert.
I thought the Chinese government just put a bunch of limitations on tencent due to them helping too influential.
They are a Ukrainian studio. No idea what these guys are dealing with day to day.
It has been many years since I played a game that I needed to take notes for. I'm enjoying it. I think a basic journal would have been cool as well, but I think what From does works just fine. Very glad the map isn't constantly clogged up with icons and to-do's. I only have the most basic experience with the whole souls like thing. If I can make it through this game I plan on going back and playing DS 1 and 3. Maybe Sekiro as well, but I think my mid 30s reflexes may not be up to ...
Knew it would be gold as soon as I saw the headline.
Just dropped in to read the comments. They did not disappoint.
The game is fun. It's leagues better than it was. It will NEVER be what was promised, but it is a fun game. Glad I held onto it. Fingers crossed cdpr doesn't shit the bed again next time.
After reading, I can see why he thinks KS that, but its total $hit. I'm not even in to Sony, but everyone knows that their first party games are absolute juggernauts. They always sell very well. Even days gone sold well. Even after the critics made it sound aggressively mediocre. Good game on pc, btw. No, Sony will be fine. I just think MSwill be actual competition, now. But they won't kill off playstation. Just won't happen.
Nintendo lives off thirst party games. They own my generations childhood. Steam can't do anything about that. I plan to use the deck a ton when I get one, but that absolutely doesn't mean my switch will just collect dust. Steam doesn't have zelda, pokemon, or mario.
Nightmare fuel.
The series was more interesting to me when it was a bit more grounded. Ill qualify that by saying I don't play online... so there is that.
100%. It used be. Mass effect 2 was the last game I remember not feeling like they stuck their hand In the pot to try and gift the consumer as hard as they could.
I agree with the sentiment, I really do. To the Ukrainian citizens nato not sending troops may very well be the end of their world. But if nato actually sends troops it could be the end of the whole world. Unfortunately putin is such a paranoid narcissist that I do believe he would press the fuck-it button. I find it hard to believe that he is not the "if I can't have it nobody can" kind of despot. After the last 20 years of my country committing war crimes, I really wish there ...
I miss the EA that put out Fight Night. I had a lot of fun in those games.
At this point we have moved well past sunk cost fallacy on the contributors part. This is some Stockholm syndrome shit. The fans have become sympathetic to their money's captor.
It's the dark souls of cyberpunk themed games developed by cd project... ... ...
Still buggy. Still messy. Still fun. I've been enjoying the game before and after the patch. Not what it was supposed to be by mile. But, meh, im having a good time.
I have no hype for this. Bethesda has had such a bad track record for so long that I feel about as excited as I would for some random indie visual novel on steam. If it turns out good.... and actually works... I'll buy in. But if it turns out to be another buggy jank fest I'll have to pass. Still using the same old engine. You can upgrade a turd all you want, it's still a turd under all the glitter.
