owning the IP doesn't mean anything if you don't have the developers. Especially its not like the Demon's soul brand is as big as Final Fantasy or Dragon Quest, they can easily make a game that similar and call it something else. Basically, Sony should have supported them more and fund them to make a sequel, the creator even spoke very openly that he would do it if Sony want them to.
they are all niche cult games, hardly any killer to be honest.

ppl already found a workaround with the old proxy method. All the hack system with 3.41 FW can connect to PSN and play online like it did before.

not every game, many games that have a PC version has higher res texture, such as Gears 1, Batman AA, Bad Company 2 , Modern Warfare 2 etc. But Some like Transformer, singularity, Prototype, basically all the cheap ass console port from crappy publisher like Activition use the exact same assets as the console counter part, except for modern warfare 2.
seeing how big those PS3 games sizes are. I think if ppl want piracy, they probably should stick to 360. Games are much smaller. If the PS3 already require install, you have to double install the game too.

seems a little quick, they didn't really say much about it nor announce much original games for it beside those n64 ports. EA said their first launch title for 3ds will be ship early next spring so that sound much more realistic.
