That was far tamer than I was expecting.
I played 3, and the wow factor from a cinematic perspective was definitely there. It was keeping me in the game for awhile, but I still grew tired of the combat is all.
I can relate. I enjoyed the combat mechanics throughout the series, but after the first game I never managed to finish another one, too samey.
No doubt his tongue was planted firmly in cheek.
The generational obsession with selfies extends to our virtual worlds, too.
I know someone who disagrees (related image).
But seriously, this would never work.
Meanwhile, in at least one universe where DriveClub properly tested their game before release and got the fixes in, it became the greatest-selling racing game in history.
THE SCIENCE IS REAL.
I'm surprised how much draw distance they managed to squeeze out of the last gen. Even now that I'm on the PS4 version, while they are much more detailed to a further distance it's not a HUUUGE difference in what you can see from the right viewpoints.
I simply cannot get enough of GTAO, but I agree the one huge thing missing is the animal element. With the expansion of wildlife the new-gen consoles bring, I was really hoping they could expand that system to Online. Alas...
Bonus: Built-in glow sticks!
It's not QUITE the FFVII remake I've been looking for, but I'll take it!
Color me intrigued. It's like Spelunky meets Phantasy Star 3.
Sadly, I largely agree.
There is one omission here though: Destiny. Despite requiring an online infrastructure that dwarfs most of these games, the possible exception being TESO, its launch was damn smooth and I can't really recall having any persistent issue.
Good to know should I eventually get the time to dig into this (along with the 5 other PS+ titles already collecting dust on my PS4).
I had the exact opposite experience. I only owned a handful of games for the N64 over its lifespan (Smash Bros, GoldenEye/Perfect Dark, Mario/Zelda stuff), but a VAST majority of the games I beat were rented titles.
Much violence, such murder, where was the controversy?!
I was so disappointed with this game. Its predecessor Warhawk is still one of my favorites.
Agreed, it's just not a game of pool without at least one Metallica track blastin'.
I admire the restraint here in limiting it to just 5 products.
For a 5-item list it really has a nice progression with an epic climax.
