Its been out for almost a week.
I bought a ps3 for ps3 software and i own a ps2 for ps2 software. I have the 60gb ps3 but never once played a ps2 game on the ps3. I dont see what the big deal is, because ps2 cost about $129.99 and i know people that spend more than 129.99 on gas a month.
kids cool and all but needs to figure out that its more fun to play with a girl rather than cardboard.
Online will be the only thing that is retroactive because its off of your PSN, saved games will not be retroactive. The reason why saved games will not be retroactive is because you could just copy someone else saved data to your ps3. Anything that you did online should be retroactive like COD4.
for the people that disagreed with me read this. I couldnt find the one that sony wrote but sony specification is for 7 SPEs to work.

Just to let you guys know that no game will ever use all 8 cores, a game can only use 6, because one is used for the OS and im sure it will help in-game xmb and the last one will never be used because not ever cell chip is perfect.

Sonys fiscal year ends in March 08, and the next one will be March 09.
I really dont see why people are mad about this, because you get the psn for free and dont have to pay 50 dollars a year just to play games online. I feel like sony released Qore so they can keep the psn free. If you want the demo pay 2.99 for the July Qore and you will also get to see some new R2 stuff. Im just happy that the psn is free.
She plays co-op game with me and thats the first thing she asked me about MGS4. She would love to play co-op with me on MGS4. My gf use to never play video games and now she is going to buy the wii, because she likes more games on the wii and hopefully she gets the wii fit. ^_^
I dont like installs but i can live with it and it helps. If we have to install a game, then i think more companys should do what MGS4 did, by making it kinda fun to watch.
I have one of those gf too, but at least MGS4 has online, because when uncharted came out see watched the opening video and then she wouldnt let me play uncharted without her. When your playing the game and your gf is watching, does she try to give you pointers like a backseat driver.

The Unreal Engine 3 is a very good engine for the 360 and PC, but not good for the PS3. Sega wants a good engine for the ps3, they need to talk to insomniac.
yea but the old remakes bring in a lot of money to SE and with that money makes the best looking games on ps2 and soon the ps3.

They forgot the last stand perk. You kill a guy and then one of your teammates steels your kill. That is what pisses me off the most. I do all the work and then get the shaft. with 2 or 1 points.
Now i know why Microsoft is all about the GTA IV, because they have no really good exclusives coming out. Gears of War 2 is the best game out of those by far.
I didnt boycott EA completely because i did buy Burnout Paradise City. Because it was a great game for both systems. A lot of PS3 fans are mad at Capcom for make DMC4 Multiplatform but that doesnt bother me. The reason why i am mad at IW or Activison is because the game came out on the same day for both platforms, which should mean that the DLC should be on the same day too. You can look at peoples gamecards in the Add friends thing without adding them as a friend, but it only holds the last 50 people that you met online.
