Why would I want to play Halo Infinite on the OG Xbox when I can get the sexy next gen one on the X? Or do you truly not give a toss about visuals and performance?

Hard disagree. The lack of fear was my main complaint with this. I guess its subjective but it really diluted the scares and overall ominous tone that Resident Evil 2 and 3 had.
Hard to forget them but yes the games are looking tasty. Cyberpunk I cannot wait for. TLOU 2 is going to be something truly special. Ghosts of Tushisma looks saucy. Halo: Infinite I'm super hyped about.
Aint that the truth. I remember it quite vividly (time has flown by). The last few years were dead with no real improvement in sight and then the reveal happened and it was as horrible as you could imagine, handing whatever momentum Xbox built to its competitor on a silver platter.
There is still A LOT to do but Xbox is certainly primed to make a bigger impact next gen and looking quite formidable. Sony will still be king worldwide but the question is, can Xbox reclaim its ...
Its good that MS has stuck to what it said years ago in this regard. A cross gen transition usually takes around 1/1.5 years. It will be interesting to see how MS phase out the X1 support into the X
Some of the scenes they shown off were super gruesome. If they give Elle/us the chance to make some real hard choices, with the excellent visuals, voice acting and motion capture; there could be some real hard-hitting moments in the game.
This already looks a lot more mature than the first game and that was leagues ahead of most games.

Who is saying it will dramatically change anything? People are just being positive about his talents having a positive impact on Hellblade 2 but the insecurity of people compels them to then either downplay the hell out of this or pretend that people are proclaiming this as the greatest thing ever.

You may not like the news but if someone from a legendary studio joins a studio like Ninja Theory who are working on Hellblade 2; you could forecast how great Hellblade 2 may look based on the talent on board.

Seems like a match made in heaven. Hellblade had amazing environments but with the power of X and ex-Naughty Dog enviro artist's talents, Hellblade 2 should look absolutely stunning.
