Enjoy!

This is my favourite survival game as of late.

Great exploration, combat, and story.

I have been enjoying Grounded a lot. Hope my PS5 players get a chance to play this in the near future.

Rewarded effort feels good.

Starting out bad at something and getting better with practice makes accomplishments meaningful.

Getting through these games feels like a journey of self improvement, lol.

You only have yourself to blame if things go poorly, but in a similar way overcoming challenge is similarly a function of your own growth.

This is my favorite playstation studio.

I played Returnal and absolutely loved it. First game I platnum'd in a very long time.

So creative, rock solid and responsive controls, fast, impactful weapons, visually stunning, arcade heritage very evident (and the ability to translate these ideas into a 3rd person shooter was remarkable to see).

They will do great things, and I look forward to whatever is next.

It seems to have made enough money for future entries in the series. I consider that a success.

Was it perfect? No. But it was a fantastic first entry, and I assume that they will use this as a solid foundation going forward.

Personally I am just excited that we are actually getting games in this universe. A very unique franchise that deserves video game adaptations.

He is 100% right.

Enemies becoming bullet sponges is very lazy game design.

If you have two identical in-game activities and one is supposed to be a harder version for better rewards, then throw in some new game mechanics, or enemy attack styles or movements. Anything is better than just increasing their health.

Exciting!

This is the best take so far.

It is just another OPTION.

For some people it makes sense. For others it is not.

I have PS Extra, GP, and still bought the Hogwarts legacy which I enjoyed. I don't often have time to play games at this point in my life, but I can check the PS Extra, GP catalogue when I have some downtime to see if anything peaks my interest.

If something I am really anticipating drops outside of t...

Thanks for the advice.

Kind of crazy how how your comment which is giving advice for people to get gamepass for free has more downvotes than upvotes. I wonder what that is about.

I think it is important to view it in the following way.

For every additional unit of (any cool feature) how much additional enjoyment do you get out of it?

Generally, the more advanced something gets, the less the benefits are noticed and appreciated.

Look at the march of ever increasing resolutions.

SD --> HD (amazing!)

HD --> 4K (looks sharp!)

4K --> 8K (I think it lo...

"Whether We Wanted It Or Not, We've Stepped Into War With The Cabal On Mars!"

That line from Destiny 1 will forever be etched into my mind. His performance was perfect. He was a great and memorable talent within the industry, both in film and games.

Thoughts and prayers to his family.

He will be missed, but never forgotten.

You don't like UE5?

I'm pretty sure that is the point...

Being able to try everything and not feel guilty for not finishing the game if you don't like it as you have not made a substantial financial investment that ties you to that specific game.

It is functioning as intended. This is not some unforeseen consequence.

It is just flat out good!

It is fun, the universe is compelling, the combat is stupid good, the world and quests are interesting and it feels like this is just the beginning of something truly special. There is hunger for what Portkey Games is making, and the reception should be causing some reallocation of resources within Warner Bros Games. This is a winner.

Amazing first release. The future looks bright for games in this universe!

Platinum'd this game recently. Probably in my top 3 games of the year and top 5 favourite game overall. Truly amazing on every front. Im excited to see what Housemarque does next. They really showed what they are capable of. They are deserving of the hype they receive, and need to be given the resources to make whatever ambitious project they have in mind.

5) The nitpicks. I remained mostly positive, as I think this is a great first Harry Potter game from Portkey games and am sure that future instalments will build on this great foundation and improve where necessary. That being said here were a few things that I think they can do better.

- Allow me to cast revelio while moving and maybe make the items remained highlighted for longer or permanently until I get them.
- Have an option to mute the floo flame ladies voic...

After just finishing the main quest I have a few thoughts.

1) Overall, I am just thrilled a game like this exists. Amazing universe, lore, etc... They nailed the whimsical and fun nature of the world, while also doing the dark aspects correctly.

2) The combat has NO business being THIS good. It is actually excellent. Cannot believe they nailed the feel and look of wizarding battles. You can go as shallow or as deep as you want. If you play with spell com...
