and that is how it goes! 360's die far more than PS3's but PS3's die as well. I have 3 friends who have had PS3 problems and had to have them sent to Sony. I have 5 friends, not including myself who have had 360 problems (over and over and over again).
People, electronics break!
I will enjoy my Professional Model PS3 with BC. I do not need a smaller, less feature rich version. That is just me though.
now may be the time to buy! Overall it is a great system, with great games and the online is...great!
Playstation owners should have no reason picking one up and 360 owners have no reason not to pick up the PS3 Slim!
Woot, it is a great time being a gamer!
It looks good but not as professional as the regular model! High gloss and chrome for the win!
I was one of the day-one purchasers of the PS3. I spent well over $600 for it. To trade it in for $150 is ridiculous. Not only because I of the trade in value but I would be losing the backwards compatibility.
I think I will stay with my fat, high gloss, 'professional' model of PS3. If I decide I need more space than 60gigs, I will buy a new harddrive.
The slim is not for me.
I don't use wifi on my PS3 and I won't do it on my 360.
While I haven't tried the 360 adapter, the PS3 wifi never seemed to work well for me. Up...down...up...down
That is how most games are. Generally better on the 360. You should know that by now mate.
The amount that I spent isn't even close to what I have gotten out of it. I have played this thing maybe 20, 30 times at the max. Nothing to good.
Errr, I feel screwed.
Of well, good stuff is in the works.
MS is very good at stealing Thunder and they will do so again with a price cut.
I was once a At&T customer and what a terrible experience. Not only was my first bill over $1,300 (a mistake they fixed but after some serious BS on the phone) but the service was terrible.
I have been with Verizon for years now and everything works. My bill has stayed the same and I can't complain. Not only that, but my internet speeds are fantastic, even in the mountains of NC. Roughly twice as fast as At&T.
Once the Iphone came out, I thought about swi...
but there isn't any spinning here. What you get with the PS3 for $300 is simply amazing!
My biggest problem with the PS3 is that I paid an incredible amount for a system that wasn't as good as the 360 which I paid a lot less for.
Now that the price is down, it is completely justified. If you guys haven't purchased a PS3 yet, now is a great time.
You are getting comparable games, comparable features and the system is built with some good hardware. ...
What on earth are you talking about? Not even close! Come on! Seriously? What?
One dumb article.
Why on earth would it be too late? Never too late to try to turn things around. Silly article.!
but that isn't a very good comparison. There was a reflection on the 360 tv that blocked parts of the gameplay. The PS3 was very washed out and the shadows were barely visible.
Also the 360 version had mussel fire the PS3 didn't. Why was that? Did it have a silencer equiped?
To BUY THIS GAME! Forget the demo people, buy it!
This is the first time I have read a story and stepped back in awe. Microsoft, what are you doing? Word is a big part of office.
Whats next?
Opinions are like ______ (fill in the blank), everyone has one and they all _____(fill in the blank)!
Nice opinion piece but not news. The author should think before they submit such none sense.
I will say this, I have no problem saying that the PS3 wins with more arcade games or better arcade games...I really don't know as I have never downloaded anything other than Doom on the 360.
Now when it comes to actually games. Full releases, the 360 wins in ...
One of the problems with COD4 was the lack of expansion packs. While there was one and it was good, there could have been much more to expand on the multiplayer aspects.
With COD5, we are map pack number 3 and gamers were treated to a free map (Makin -Day Version). Not only are we getting maps for the multiplayer but maps for the Nazi Zombies with each one. I have purchased all of them and they are all fairly priced and the content is well worth it. Judging by how many people...
What the heck Sony? This is the big update?
I mean, I love my PS3 but this is terrible.
What happened to this being a big update?
