Nice to see a decent range of titles within a group of reviewers. I particularly like the inclusion of smaller titles, showing that loves and appreciation doesn't just have to go to the famous AAA stuff. :)

Was looking forward to this one, so I'm glad it'll be worth picking up when it comes out. :)

Had quite a few mixed thoughts when seeing all the footage, and agree with all the points the writer makes here. It has the potential to be something really time-consuming (in a good way), while Link just looks so adorable. That being said I worry that the huge world will mean a lack of focus, and am interested to see more about how clear the story is to follow, if you start getting bored of the exploration.

Was greatly amused by this article, both by the concept itself, and the humour within the writing. I'd definitely join you for a night in gaming, rather than going out on the town.

An interesting read. I hadn't actually heard of most of them. The worrying part is how pathetic most of the claims are against them, especially those to do with likenesses. The coffee one probably amused me the most though, for the same reasons that the writer highlights.

I do love Mario Kart 8, a fantastic game to just put on and play when I'm bored. Splatoon is my all time favourite game to play though. I never get bored of splatting ink everywhere and testing new weapons. The game just gets better when playing with and against friends as you go between trying to find the best tactics for a stage so you win together, or how to splat them multiple times when they become your squiddy enemy.

A very interesting and thought provoking read. I have always opted to buy a physical copy of a game for many of the reasons pointed out in the article. I like to know that I own it, while having it on the shelf helps me to remember its existence. I must say though, that I do have a rather large Steam library, and the more it grows so does the fear of something happening to it. The saddest thing is that gamers have little to no choice about how these things will happen in the future. As said i...

An extra reason to be hyped for the day. Can't wait for this time next month!

Sounds like it was an interesting weekend. Am particularly interested in Soul Axiom, after I played Master Reboot which is also by Wales Interactive and set in the same world. Master Reboot was an interesting title but got stuck by trying to push in strange and awkward puzzles instead of clearly telling it's intriguing story. I'm interested to see which side of the coin things have gone with Soul Axiom and where things have been improved.

Seems like it's worth picking the game up for the humorous commentary, even if the gameplay isn't the best. I love the 50s style, sounds like a lot of fun.

An enjoyable read for a game that clearly isn't very fun. Definitely a title to avoid.

Really interested in this games concept. Love the idea of having to look at other peoples screens to find them, as well as the assortment of weapons. Sounds worth a look, despite the flaws.

Must admit that I haven't played any of the previous titles, but after reading this article I now really want to. The world and gameplay sounds really interesting, and it's so satisfying starting a series that you know the developers have put love and attention into. It makes such a difference when they listen to gamers and work out the kinks of older games when creating a new experience. I hope that the new title is everything that fans of the series are excited for. Perhaps soon I&#...

Really enjoyed reading this. There was a good balance between the humour while also appreciating some of the serious side. Ultimately, everyone wants an escape from reality, and video-games just happen to be a great way to do that. When it comes down to it us humans can get a bit too attached to most things can't we, whether this is coffee or staring at pictures of fluffy animals.

A very enjoyable review. I completely agree with the writer when they say this title is 'pleasant'. When I played though it recently I enjoyed the cute characters and relaxing atmosphere. Nothing was taxing, or challenging, but that was ok, as I was still having a good time.

Looking at the game from trailers I've mostly felt that it had little to distinguish it from other similar titles. After reading your article though I have to admit that I'm a bit more curious. A few of its mechanics do sound interesting, especially the tension surrounding the world and how players can betray you. It's still not really the game for me, but fingers crossed for those that enjoy the genre that the game will bring something fun and unique to the table.

Bought Yellow as soon as I could from the eShop recently and have been having a blast ever since. There is something so satisfying about just seeing and catching the original Pokemon, knowing that it's actually possible to catch (or at least see) them all and fill the Pokedex - a task that is pretty difficult in the newer games.

That's fair enough. If the first game wasn't to your liking, then you're not going to enjoy the second. It's essentially using all the same basics, just updated and improved.

I did really enjoy playing this title recently, and it's certainly worth a look. I will say that the 10/10 rating is a touch too high, however. I found the story pacing really slow, and the combat got repetitive after a while, with no extras to really change things up. That being said, I really loved the banter between characters and the amount of detail that has gone into making every character look and act like themselves.

This sounds really interesting. Will definitely be keeping an eye out for it.
