I kind of alternate between Rayden and Johnny Cage.
Rayden is so powerful and versatile. I love teleporting around and doing his superman flying attack. Barbecue-ing opponents with lightning never gets old.
Johnny Cage is just fun. I love his goofball personality and arcing green energy balls and shadow kick. And of course theres nothing like disrespecting fools with the nut punch.

I think all the characters from MKI and MKII are probably in. It would be really weird to not have them. Who is gonna take out SubZero, Johnny Cage or Kitana? Probably a couple of new ones and a few returning from MKX. About 30 fighters or so at launch + DLC characters.
I just hope the story is better this time around. MKX's plot was disjointed and mostly forgettable. I much preferred MK9's story.

The problem with DA 2 was that you couldn't choose your Name or Race or leave Kirkwall. The Problem with DA:I was that you had no choice but to do lots of busywork and MMO like fetch quests.
