I'm pretty sure VGA and Component are capable of giving the same image HDMI 1.2 can. Of course they don't support HDMI 1.3+ features and that's where the PS3 is better. But not everything supports the extra features 1.3+ spec offers which sucks. Is broadcast HD not "true HD" because it's not 1080P?
VGA and Component are both capable of outputting 1080P and beyond, just not all displays support that res from non-hdmi connections.
I'm surprised you didn't just say the PS3 was the first "True HD" console.

It's a big blur plain and simple. It's like looking through vaseline smeared glasses. Someone posted images of the game where the demo takes place and everything is extra sharp and highly detailed and it's nothing like that in the demo. It looked just like the images you linked to but in the jungle environment.
The graphics alone are enough to keep me from even thinking about renting this one.

They should have made sure to put enough server hardware up to handle however many codes they printed in the pre-order packs or gave away to sites to give out.

We should use internet polls to elect the POTUS.
People make a big deal about it because for some it could be the deciding factor for which system to buy the game for if they have both consoles. Or it could also be the decision maker for someone who might be buying a next gen console specifically for GTA4.
I guess the other people making a big deal about it are those that want to justify their console purchase choice.
Do you expect people to take you seriously when you say something as dumb as "Halo never really helped the 360"?
It helped the 360 move an insane amount of software and I'm sure a good amount of hardware.
Nasim claimed Halo 3 wouldn't move any consoles and everyone laughed at him when it was proven it did.

Sounds like they're trying desperately to win over some of those people with both consoles so they stick with the PS3 version.

I can't go back to XP after using Vista since it went retail. It's just so damn depressing to look at and work with now.
I've had no problems using Vista with two different setups since it came out. Opteron 170 with X1950Pro and 4GB of ram ran great. My new setup a C2D @ 3.4GHZ with 2GB of ram and a 8800GT 512.
Vista takes up about 500MB of ram after everything loads in on startup. I notice no FPS hits in Crysis, Quake Wars, and World of Warcraft.
Nice sales for both sides.

With no big system sellers out this month the numbers should be close with the 360 likely barely edging out the PS3 if that trend continues.

Been running Vista since it was released with no problems.
Also running SP1 since the RTM was released with no problems.
