This article is flame bait and the author has no knowledge of how the electronics industry even works.
These deals are normal and will not affect business operations at all.

It's against the law to do what the author is purporting Microsoft would do.

And to the English Language.

They should really call it the "Butcher the English language and Flamebait show"

Please, do us all a favor and take a course in English.
Learn the difference between:
"was" & "were", "it's" & "its"

Learn to capitalize the beginnings of sentences.
Learn what a run-on sentence is.
Learn to use a few different adjectives.
Learn not to repeat yourself, be more concise and stop indulging in your explanations. (<-this was a demonstration joke)

Why wasn't that on the list? X-wing and Tie Fighter were awesome. I'd play these any day before all of the games on that list.

I agree, Assassin's Creed was awesome. I couldn't put it down until I beat it. Definitely didn't deserve to be on the list.

Don't even get me started on how bad the Full Metal Alchemist games were. I shudder to think that I purchased one. I keep it as a reminder that no video game company is fool proof.

However, Crisis Core is easily my favorite game for the PSP. 2 million is quite an achievement, especially for a portable.

Exactly what I was thinking.

See, and here I thought Bioshock was scarier than all of the above. It was just disturbing. Nothing in the other games honestly surprised me, but then again I was expecting more of an Deus Ex type game.

Apparently we can't.
This kid's stuff isn't news. I'm not sure what it is besides ramblings, and it's not even good ramblings.

Is it really necessary to write an article about how UserX's console died? It's a fact of life, and electronics, that they will die.
Yes it sucks, but it's not news anymore. We have been hearing about the RRoD and YLoD for years.
We have been hearing about these failures for so long, people have started to make up stories about which games are causing their beloved consoles to die (not this article but others).

I don't think they could get Natal out by Christmas. First off, the E3 demo was pretty static and scripted. Unless they are much farther along then the demo at E3 suggested, they have a lot of work to do. First they have to be able to make it recognize non-intended movements (such as a sneeze) and be able to ignore them without it disrupting game-play. This is a HUGE hurdle all by itself.

Furthermore, this is something that is going to require extensive testing. You can't te...

@1.13 You're a little too trusting of online news sources. It is impossible for the code of a game to be so poorly written it breaks the actual physical limitations of the machine and causes it to fail.

You can not run so fast your legs will actually fall off, no matter how much your brain tells them to. Same goes with a Blu-ray drive. It doesn't matter how fast the game tells the Blu-ray to spin. If the game is telling the Blu-ray to spin at 2.5x and it's only a 2x drive, i...

It has to be BS. Any type of Data Storage Device has a hardware controller on it and Blu-ray is no exception. Hard Drives, CD-ROMs, DVDs etc. This hardware controller acts as a go-between from the Processor to the Device. The Processor tells the Controller what it wants from the Device, and the Controller goes and gets it. Controllers in general operate at fixed speeds (sometimes they have multiple speeds, but they are still fixed).

So in essence (generally), it doesn't matt...

No kidding, when more than half the article is an example using cars and not about the game at all is pretty sad. It's flame-bait pure and simple.

The game has a lot of hype because it's Ghostbusters. 80's children grew up with them, so nostalgia is playing at least a small part. The other reason is because the Developer didn't try very hard to make the games on the 360 and PS3 equal.
This has caused a firestorm of epic proportions simply because it's feed for the fanboy mentality:

"My Console is better than your Console because [insert who gives a frak comment here]"

It's actually quite rid...

It would be awesome if they gave you a discount for already owning the PSOne game... If they did that, I'd probably buy all the good ones, even if though I own some of them already.

The ones that I would like to see most:
Vagrant Story
Azure Dreams
Brave Fencer: Musashi (I know it's a cheezy game, but I liked it)
Battle Arena Toshinden
Diablo
Legacy of Kain:Soul Reaver
Lunar: Silver Star Story

This is quite possibly the worst written article approved to date.

This just made my day. My copy of FFVII was played to death. Literally. I wanted another copy but at $70+ dollars on ebay it wasn't going to happen.

You must have watched a different version than I did. (Maybe Ju-on:2-this one was okay)
My wife and I were laughing our socks off by the end of the first movie.

That throaty "ahhhhhhh" was hilarious. After that movie it became a standing joke for us.

It could be an interesting game, but with all the branching stories that make it Ju-On I'm not sure how it would work.

I could be wrong, but the "6" looks photo-shopped to me.
