I liken The Order to the first Uncharted game, due to the fact that Ready At Dawn hadn't made a game on this level before. And we all know the vast improvement of the second Uncharted over the first. I'd be happy to see a return to the franchise.
Bungie isn't the same studio they were because a lot of figure heads have left.
I'm with you on the point that graphics don't equal fun/exciting/great gameplay. More often than not though, they tend to go hand-in-hand. And no, I don't just mean sheer visual fidelity. But there was nothing from the trailer that had any redeeming value in my opinion. It looks clunky. Stiff characters. Bad acting.
Slightly Mad Studios must be more than just slightly mad to think that people will buy this pathetic excuse of a game.
How do people still not understand that PS4 games will play on PS5?
Bethesda has practically nothing to do with this game...smh...
I'm about 50% complete on this game. Absolutely love it. Anyone who is a Dark Souls can should pick this up.
I am stunned by your stupidity. And I've heard a lot of nonsense. Just letting you know.
Yep. Impeached without evidence. *slow claps*
This looks LEGIT! I think now is the time to pick this game up.
Honestly, there are a lot of things that make PS4 games jaw dropping. Camera work for instance. Animations.
*PS2
It looks two gens old to me.
The kindling bit obviously makes me think of Souls games.
No, it's now in the primary game mode options.
It's pandering when the devs come out and go "hey, did you see that we we have a dark skinned lesbian female character? Aren't we so progressive?!" If attention wasn't given to the character(s) biology or preferences, but the character(s) just so happened to be x-y-z, then it would be different.
I totally get what you're saying and think it rings true. It can happen with any entertainment medium. Cannibal Corpse wouldn't be as popular as they were if it wasn't for that senator or whoever it was mentioning them as something to avoid listening to. The Joker movie probably wouldn't have grossed as much if it wasn't considered controversial by the media. Etc.
The visuals in this game are (insert bad word here) insane! I think my eyes will bleed when PS5 games start being shown off.
This has George Miller's seal of approval. I'm in. I'm excited for a slow paced, beautiful cinematic experience. Bring it on.
This is great and all, but I have a question. Would people be okay if games began releasing that were half assed if it meant that the games didn't release with microtransactions? Developers have to put in A LOT of work into AAA titles these days. I understand that it's not ideal, but they need to make a return on investment and have some overhead as well. Maybe game prices should be raised to counter balance costs? Idk.
