I'm cool with the achievment boosting as long as it does not give you an advantage over other gamers. Since all the CR only resort to aesthetic items for armor/voice/death animation etc., it is something to have fun with and nothing more.
It's tought to justify paying for fake clothes for a fake virtual person. Earning them as stated above makes much more sense and also gratifying because some of those challenges are not easy.
As long as Sony stays one step ahead, this should not be too much of a disaster. However, hackers always find a way to crack into something.
@ harris954
I agree the hardware isn't bad, but you need a decent library to support it, which is why in the article I stated Move has great potential, but as of right now, subpar games.

A couple 8s and a couple 3s = lukewarm
Both Eye Pet and Sports Champions are getting good scores. The other games, not so much.
Kung Fu = 3.5
Tumble = 3.5
Racquet Sports = 4.5
This is no fanboyism at all, a few of their launch games are shovelware. The hardware is good, but ...
@ albel_nox
Agreed and bubbled. Fanboyism aside, I'm not impressed with either and will need something to really blow me away before I buy another peripheral.
Urmomlol and I got into a disagreement last week about something. He is one of those people who just disagree for the sake of disagreeing and a perfect example of why n4g is becoming a trolling, fanboy hate fest as opposed to a discussion forum about gaming.
@ Reibooi
You make an interesting case. Since the game is all essentially fiction anyway, similar character models are often used. My only rebuttal is that in the literature, all of the Spartans are basically programmed to act the same. Stoic, to the point, almost robotic. You can't really expect too many human qualities when their ingrained humanity is removed.
Still, an interesting insight. Bubble.
@ Wizzio:
Agreed and bubbles. Bungie has never really flat out denied MC is not in Reach. Just sort ot tapdanced around the question. Would Reach be better with MC in it? I think so.
Second sign of being a tool:
Your screen name is Urmomlol. Is this your first time on the internet. Sweet l33t speak.
First sign you're an idiot:
I didn't write the article. I'm defending the writer who did.
First sign you're a pussy:
Telling me to "man up". Go over to www.loot-ninja.com and ask someone there where to find me.
I live in NYC. I see the commercials and the ads you are talking about.
I am referring to the actual million dollar commercials that were rolled our for Halo 3/ODST.
Those have not happened yet.
First sign of a hater:
Leaves comments criticising others when they themselves have no experience to speak of.
Have the sac to publish your material and then allow the world to scrutinize it. You're more than entitled to your opinions, but just because you watched a porn doesn't mean you got laid.
This is going to be a can't miss crossover.
Unlike MK vs DC...
So, what else are you playing? Kinectimals? Wii Sports 2?
@ Captain Obvious
I COMPLETELY agree with you. It is pathetic to think games can get you laid.
This article, however, is meant to be funny and hyperbole. The tone of the article is such that it is more fodder for laughs than an actual thesis.
It seems as if the Capt. is getting old in his day. You missed a softball sized obvious one there man.
@ Gynecologistcobra:
Repeat, it was supposed to be funny...
@ DJexs:
If you read the article, which I'm sure you didn't, I said several times I am buying BOTH.
I feel that the Kinect is a little farther ahead. I prefer Samoan Pile Driver to Missionary, doesn't mean I don't look the girl in the face once in awhile.
@ Avengers:
good pt. however, games that use the Move/Kinect will be full price. only the Move specific games are 40. Metal Gear Rising, I THINK, will be PS Move compatible. That won't be 40 bucks. Tiger Woods 2011 is PS Move comp, that's also a full game.
@ GWAVE:
You make a valid point. PSN is pretty open and XBL is like a fortress. Moving fwd, I hope MS allows Valve to play around a little. Too many of the XBL perks, such as the Facebook integration, are not that big of a deal to me.
The weapons are not that much different, but they have new camo skins. Also, there are new medals and achievement support is coming.
I think Red Dead Redemption might take it just because it is the first real western sandbox and much more than GTA 100 years ago.
Halo: Reach is awesome, but not THAT groundbreaking. They much improved on a winning formula.
Now, I think it will win Best Multi GOTY. Firefight 2.0 and Forge World really make it stand out.
