Sometimes they are funny but most of the time, I watch the videos because every game that they have reviewed for the Nes, SNES, Genesis, and 64, I have, at one point in time, played and loved/hated.
Call me nostalgic, but those were the good ole days.
demos are your friend(when available) there are multiple ways to combat this problem.
I say whats 8 bucks for a rental. You play for 5 hours, find out if it's good or not, then if it is, go buy it. Yeah a 59 dollar game become 67+tax but at least you have peace of mind instead of 9th grade linkin park angst.
Is it me or did whoever was playing that game really suck? He didn't show off any of the special kills and after watching like 5 minutes, I was really bored....not good for the game that won't make it to shelves.

The problem with N3 is that all of the characters are reserved to one type of movement and they are carbon copies of each other. N3 is a good game but the difference here is the level of detail on each enemy.
I'm not saying that they are all unique but there are way more versions of enemies in Heavenly Sword than in that fight sequence that you posted.

This game looks to be more Sci-Fi, but if you are looking for a game that has a lot of hype and looks really good, Uncharted might be something to look into.
Lighting, visuals, controls are all said to be top notch and should be shipping out this year. Look for that as a good Adventure game.

In all seriousness, I think that your right with the Presidents tossing out ideas or slander at each other. It's been dirty but it's never been this bad.
It looks like it has to do with the MMO fad that's going on. Makes it feel like there is more than one person playing with you and gives that party element back. Would work if your party members weren't retarded sometimes.

Good music and really good NPC work. It's always in the details but by the number of NPC's in an area at any given time....you will see the same people. They proved it in the E3 gameplay demo.
