Wether the game is good or bad is irrelevant to the fact that when 3rd parties see arguably the most popular game in gaming accounting for 1% sales on the Wii U, they're going to be less inclined in spending time,money, and resources supporting a console if all they're going to get is a 1% increase in sales. This is cool and all but i'm passed graphics now, all I care about in games this gen is how the games are going to play, if it's a major PS exclusive then the graphics are expected to be good, I just want to know about the gameplay. GTA V set a benchmark on ancient hardware, with the level of detail, physics, scope, how the game world is intwined with the gameplay, so how are new powerful systems going to step up from that.

The problem with the game is that it was released in an awkward time, if it was going to be on the PS3 it should have released last year, if they were going to release it on the PS4 (which they should have) they should have released it exactly next year.
It's a catch 22 releasing the game late in 2013, PS3 is too old less people are gonna be inclined to buy, PS4 is too young very few people will but it this early in the life cycle.

Do you have any sources to back that up, I to believe GOW should have gone that route, GOW1 was essentially one great big Zelda dungeon, just more streamlined, without the padding and emphasis on combat.

7th gen isn't going to last for ever, 2015 is most likely going to be the last year we see a big multi-platform cross-gen game, It's an inevitable procedure, to slowly phase out the older systems, 2014 is probably the last year I'm going to spend with the 7th gen consoles, before I move on to 8th gen.

Golden Axe on the PS2 was a travesty, that said 3D Beat em Ups have worked The Warriors was an excellent example, but if anything I would love Atlus to do either Phantasy Star or Shining Force.
