Meet them half way... a temporary code that last for one or two years, then can be played second hand. If the game cannot make money in that time, it is probably not worth paying full price.

I've been using Windows 7 64 RC bit on my Toshiba Qosimo G30 for the last 3 months and it just works. When I had Vista it was a nightmare, took months the get things to work.
Don't upgrade, do a clean install!!!
This error happened to me with the Resident Evil some months ago. When looking at my credit card statement I was charged twice by MS. When I challenge them about it, they said I was charged only once for this item but my bank begs to differ. My bank ended up having to liaise with MS and was then refunded some 6 weeks latter.
Somehow this error didn't register the first transaction and charged twice on the successful down load.
Apparently Sony forgot to respond to the RSVP and will not be attending.

There are different version of HDMI, possibly TV/amp with earlier version maybe having this issue. I know that some user manuals say HDMI is a working progress and may not work on some devices.

All the more reason for MS to have 360 games delivery system by downloading only (Yes ...retail market will spew) from Xbox Live servers. . Until someone figures out how pull it off the hard drive and load it into their PC to burn.
