Lame... Now where do I buy my games? I've shopped at Best Buy for 4 years bc of GCU. Now it's back to GameStop I guess? I think this will finally push me to go all digital.
Agreed.
As I was trying to read this an ad popped up obstructing my view and eating my data. Not only that, it was impossible to close because the "x" was so small that every time I clicked it a new tab would open and take me to the ads site.
Please find a new means of revenue, or partner with a less intrusive ad company. Hell, I'd pay money for an Android/iOS app if you made that experience ad-free.
No, but I guess you need it to click bait your article.
Lesson Time:
Since the days of Gunpei Yokoi (creator of the GameBoy) Nintendo's product philosophy has been, "lateral thinking with withered technology". This means that they encourage innovative, sideways thinking to come up with new ways to use dated but affordable technology. This encourages the creation of fun products that are priced below the competition.
The Switch for instance is a perfect example. It uses a chip that's more than...
*The Xbox One Still Needs Some Work
I loved this on PC. It's a wonderful, heartfelt experience with a good narrative and fun gameplay. I definitely recommend it.
Yeah, and then 3 years after the announcement and loads of hype they'll cancel it because that's, "better for the gamers." #Scalebound
Or boobs.
"Animal Crossing meets Pokemon" makes me think that this game is about befriending animals in a town then capturing them to turn into your little worker slaves that you use to pay the debt off of a home loan.
I tried it. Let's see what happens.
Free Radical. Wow. Now there's a name I haven't heard in a long time. It's such a shame what happened to that studio, they were one of the best teams out there. I miss Time Splitters. There hasn't been a multiplayer shooter released since that's brought my friends and I more joy and laughter.
Lol
Agreed Kurdi.
Otogi, Jet Set Radio, Skies of Arcadia, and Super Monkey Ball.
Otogi was great fun on the original Xbox. The sense of power when you slammed enemies into the ground and watched a crater get deeper and deeper with each successive hit was something I'd never seen before. I felt really powerful smashing those buttons. The game was hard too. Seems everyone forgot about it despite it being an incredibly stylish and satisfying game.
Hell yes.
A preview of things to come? F-Zero Switch. Come on, baby...
March - after folks come down of the BF+COD high and with no other major competitors in site - would have been perfect.
It's been dirt cheap for a good while now but if it follows the pricing trend of other BC games the price is going to go up now that it's able to be played on the XBO. Depending on demand it could go up quite a bit (if you want a physical copy).
Holy FUCKING SHIT. YES!
This current console generation is so weird. With all the slims and half-gen consoles it reminds me of being in the 90's when all those snap-on products like the 32x and Expansion Pack for the N64 were a thing. Except these expansion packs costs hundreds of dollars.
