Even at $600 it's still too much. Of course, this all depends on how serious you are when it comes to gaming but after being burned twice by both the RROD for the Xbox 360 Elite and YLOD for the PS3, both of which I paid for at full price after launch, I'd be a fool to pay that much again on a brand new system.

I remember playing the original Guild Wars and actually got it on day one, something I rarely do for any video game. It was highly addicting. I also loved it because it was free and there was something for everyone. I hated PVP so I stuck solely with PVE.

I don't see why people complain about $60 a year for Xbox Live. In many cases, you can get it for only $36-$39 a year if you can catch it on sale on Amazon.
$60 equals to about $.16-.17 a day....If you really can't afford that, then as someone else said, you really should be more concerned about other issues than this. I'm not sure why some are getting so worked up, even after so many years.
Interesting...No wonder it has that "Socom" feeling to it. Personally, I was never interested in the Socom franchise but I have heard horrible things about Slant Six when they made Socom for the PS3. Kind shocked they are making this game.

I'm going to go ahead and say Last of Us by Naughty Dog. While its true that The Last Guardian was announced a year or so ago (maybe more, I'm not exactly sure when), we haven't seen anything of that game since then. I think it's safe to say that once this game comes out, many hours of our lives will be spent in this game. Calls will be made to work saying how sick you are and can't come in today. Girlfriends/boyfriends activity will be put on hold. Weight will be gained as we sit our arses in front of the TV and eat nothing but junk food. Many eyes will be bloodshot as we play all through the night/morning.

Meh. Whatevers. I've been excited about this game for so long and although they haven't given a estimated release date (at least not that I'm aware of), it's a joke for them to tell only now they are focusing 100% on this game. Like seriously? Do Square not have any idea what their fans want? But whatever. I'm so over this. When the release date nears, only then will I start paying attention to this game again.

exactly my thoughts. sure, we now have DRS and KERS but overall it looks like the same game. they are racing in the same locations and the tracks itself don't change. gameplay itself i don't know but i don't think it can differ that much from 2010.

If anything, I'm glad they did it. I'm sure Microsoft paid extra cash to secure this exclusive DLC deal and the developers of this great game definitely deserve it. I'm sure they poured their hearts and soul into making Skyrim so something extra special is warranted.

I personally think this is a good move by Insomniac. They've given us so much and I think they deserve a break. Who knows. Not working on Resistance 4 might mean a new IP from them?
