Do all these people disagreeing with you actually think the game won’t look better on pc at 60fps?!
Or are they just console fan boys who refuse to accept that games on a $400 console will look and perform worse than on a $3000 pc.
I think the 30fps thing is going to be more common on both ps5 and xbox going forward as games stop being cross gen. I suspect the era of 60fps being common is ending.
as I’ve got used to 60fps 30fps is really hard to go back to for me. The minimum frame rate I’m happy with these days is 40fps. The extra 10 over 40 makes a surprisingly big difference
FSR3 and DLSS3 are great for boosting 60fps to 120fps but not for 30fps to 60fps which tends to cause awful input lag.
The was way PSVR fans defend the system reminds of how Vita fans (like me) defended that system back in the day. The uncomfortable truth is that PSVR2 is very reminiscent of the vita…great hardware, a core of die hard fans but a lack of mass market uptake and no support from Sony. Do the same thing twice Sony and you will get the same result.
For this reason the industry needs to move away from so many 50+ hour long AAA games and focus on high quality but shorter stuff. Obviously they would sell at a reduced price too (don’t want £70 12 hours games) but you know what I mean hopefully!
Loved dying light 1. Dying light 2 thiugh missed the mark for me. It lost all the atmosphere of the first and gameplay isn’t as fun.
Not enough time but also too much too much pointless bloat
It will be at steam deck levels of power at best. Any more than that and battery takes a big hit as seen on the rog ally and similar handhelds which will be a non starter for them.
Given nintendos history it will be underpowered and still sell massively.
PC steam and a deck for me have made my ps5 gather dust.
If all you care about price per frame sure ps5 is best. If you want best quality and performance the 4080 is streets ahead.
Fools and their money are easily parted
PSVR2 is great hardware and there are great games. Problem is VR headsets just dont have the same level of mass market appeal as traditional consoles. This is a market and a headset that only works if you also have a PS5 makes it a bit more niche still compared to say an oculus. It’s a good product but it seems destined for modest sales.
That is a lot of games yes but the vast majority aren’t going have any mass market appeal whatsoever.
I was a massive Vita fan and play mine to this day. Even so it’s clear that the supply of high profile games after the initial launch period very quicky shrank to a trickle then dried up completely. The Sony marketing started pushing indies indies indies and it was flooded with them. It limped along like this for years with only the die hards caring. Real shame.
This is exactly the same comment I read about the vita many times.
So rather than release recent popular games they should release old unpopular ones to reduce the chances of people already having them? Weird logic
I miss when climbing required thought and had jeapordy…
Definitely getting one. Screen was my biggest issue with the original deck. Day one purchase for me
Im doing exactly the same thing!
My thoughts exactly. I bought it at release for full price and got frustrated and bored with it very quickly.
