Tipping is a wonderful thing to do, but an executive is the last person who should suggest it for an industry. This is just shady.
*Microsoft
I love all the souls games but Bloodborne and Sekiro are on a different level.
Lightning LOL
This pretty much confirms what I have feared all along. With Game Pass, Microsoft is forcing Sony to play by its rules. It looks like Sony has taken the poison pill.
Hopefully this unsustainable subscription model forces Sony to pivot back to Single player. Until then, let’s hope a few more Larians pop up to actually capitalize on making good single player games in place of the big publishers.
If by “charm” you mean immersion breaking jank, then I suppose you’re right.
We need to stop apologizing for Bethesda’s poor quality control. It was barely excusable when Fallout 3 came out and it’s down right pathetic now.
Let Obsidian make a Fallout game with a modern engine. It will be a better product than anything running on Bethesda's engine.
If you’re worried about Unreal 5 not being able to remember where you drop every lit...
Nope
A lot of Activision revenue happens on Sony consoles though. The post-merger Activision will have to find a way to make its money on one the least popular platform in history.
"Deep Cleavage"
So I guess we make it to the Northern Crater in Game 2 after all.
Sony doesn’t tie bonuses to meta. That’s a scumbag Bethesda move.
They have done such a fantastic job of lowering the quality of their games over the last ten years that when you look back on AC3, it’s so much better by comparison now, it is hard to be disappointed with it.
A lot of studios have been elevating their legacy titles in exactly the same way lately. Looking at you BioWare.
Thank god in heaven. Maybe we will get some single player games again soon instead of GAAS trash.
You can literally pick any other class and you would be more correct than this article.
Dunkey is gonna be all over this
@CobraKai Nothing “weak” about reading a few reviews before spending time and money on something. Only a moron would pay a publisher blindly before even trying to figure out if the product was good or even functional.
Sleeping on Baldur’s Gate 3 would be a shame. Nothing Bethesda has done in the last ten years has come close to a game like Divinity Original Sin 2 and Baldur’s Gate 3 looks light years ahead of even that.
Even if that is true…which I highly doubt… it’s still horrific story telling. A good story teller doesn’t burden the audience with understanding a needlessly complex plot. This is a series that literally defines itself by throwing a ton of characters together that have no business ever existing in the same universe with one another and then justifying it with a mess of convoluted dialogue.
The only game in the series that succeeded at story telling was the first one because...
It seems like they would have at least waited for the release of Sfarfield to raise prices. If the game does well, everyone has added incentive to buy the new console. Doing it beforehand just signals a lack of confidence of Microsoft’s part. It looks like they want to capitalize on the hype of Starfield while it’s still high. But I doubt Microsoft execs would even know if Starfield is going to be a hit or not. They aren’t really gamers.
What are smoking? Got to layoff your way to those bonuses. Fire 500 employees right before Christmas. That should get you there.
