It is funny to read people slagging off Halo Recon and totally forgetting that the Japanese don't give a damn about KZ2 either and if I remember rightly KZ was a response to Gears.(for all those using the copying comments)
LBP is not getting many pre-orders either in Japan.
I think people should just accept that there a 3 consoles in this generation and they have all sold enough to be viable.

PS3 and 360 have few new games coming out in Japan this month. So it will be interesting to see where the 360 sales level off.
LBP and Socom get released on the 30th, probably too late to affect this months console sales much.
360 beat Ps3 for August and September combined by about 8k.
The race is on for October.
The only reason they sold 1.3k in the other week was shortages. This was a well publisised fact
I hope they have plenty of these, my guess is that they could shift 40k of the bundles alone. They only Had 12k for TV and that was no where near enough.

Sorry, but the cheaper price of the 360, the superior game catalog and the fact that multi platform games are better on the 360 since it is the development platform of choice means the 360 wins worldwide for the rest of this year.

I don't think anyone would claim this as a victory, just an impressive week for MS on top of an improving performance over the summer.
Plenty of people out there thought MS could not beat Wii in a single week and they have. Nothing more.
Now the interesting thing is to see if they can keep seeling above the 6k mark till xmas as far as I am concerned.
This is a major achievement for MS, they could not even do this with Blue Dragon.
Xbox will still come third in Japan, but this good for everyone.
Correct it is games that sell a console and the 360 has more 90% + games than the PS3, FACT
Now with this price cut MS are going to wrap up this xmas in the UK.
