you really lack common intellegence old dog... people aren't buying the 360 to stream movies or watch dvds sure people do, but it's not its sole intention, however and correct me if i'm wrong but isnt the PS3 the cheapest blu-ray player in the market.. hence my OPINION of market division
agreed, lots of people hating.. I remember reading fanboy comments just yesterday on the demo hits a million thread that it won't even sell a million copies.. where's that quote at.. haha
i think it also has to do with the ps3 being a blu-ray player as well where the divide between entertainment unit/games console is within the product population is anyone's guess, however with the xbox being strictly a gaming machine means most buyers are gamers not to forget the attach rate proves xbox owners tend to buy more games more often...

i can agree, on paper the platnuim trophy's should show the better players, but the same thing will happen as with achievements, movie-based games/childish games will have easy to get trophies so it will eventually turn out the same

anything you do in halo3 is recorded on the fly and can be viewed from any other player's perspective and from a free point anywhere within the map's boundries.. cod can't even do 2 player split online.. *scoffs*
"COD4 has a great Ranking system that rewards the player as they lvl up" it has an inventive system i'll agree and it's a great hook where weapons are only unlocked at certain levels, however, the leveling system is seriously flawed... you still get exp for team killing an entire match...

tell us about it, they're developing it on a multi-platform engine, and from what I've read "porting" won't take longer than a few monthes, and in that time they'll have to localise the script and voice the English actors anyway...
^ well said, if it's one thing silicon knights are known for, it's good stories, and something tells me too human will deliever that. Interesting point you made about your friends being trusted reviews, I have a feeling this is one of them games where word of mouth will do it more favours than 'credited' previews/reviews.
