This headline/story is highly deceptive. This is a user-made level for UT III based on a map from Halo; not exactly "Halo Now Playable on the PS3" now, is it?
Lame lame lame, N4G.
User-made levels based on maps from other games is hardly "news" anymore either; hell I've done it myself on several occasions.
Or you could just output your PC's sound and video to your TV.
The Orange Box isn't a game.
She's right most of the time because her predictions are so thunderingly obvious.
Bloggers are pretty low on the internet food chain already, so it's not like this stunt will lessen them in the eyes of others too much.
It's not hard to put together a really good PC on a small budget; you just have to do some research beforehand instead of rushing out and buying the most expensive components.
PC games are a gimmick? Hardly. Well maybe they are if you try and play them on a $100 Dell computer.
And if PC gamers are nerds, what does that make console gamers?
And since when was Crysis coming to the PS3 and the 360? Even if they do make a console version, it'll be a mere shadow of the PC version, with washed-out detail levels, dumber enemies, and loading screens every two minutes.
They've been working on this for years, and still no gameplay footage?
Somebody thought that poorly-written hissy-fit was news?
May I ask why?
Amusing article.
I will say that Ninjabread Man does have really good box art, though.
Gizmodo plays by their own rules and they live on the edge!
Lots of people ragged Doom 3 but I really enjoyed it, flaws and all. No, it wasn't a "great" game in the classic sense, but it's one of those games you kept playing just to see the next new area and the next new monster.
It's still one of the most detailed action games around.
"how sad, it still has hopes."
I don't own any consoles, so I couldn't care less about this game; I just find it funny to see 12-year-olds endlessly arguing over this, like it's the most important thing in the world.
The announcement will be that it's a 360 exclusive.
Sorry to ruin the surprise.
So simple, even Gabe and Tycho can understand.
Maybe.
Enjoy your sloppy thirds, PS3 fans.
Step One should be getting adequate supplies of them onto store shelves.
GET READY!!
The decline of Western civilization continues.
They're playing one of the most graphically-demanding games out there at super-high resolutions and are getting bad frame-rates? Stop the presses!
Instead of whining about how poorly the game runs at 1680x1050 and 1900x1200, why not try turning down the resolution a bit?
