Well, they might add some sort of gameplay scenario that takes place outside of the ship. The one bit that I'm sure of is the section in your hideout. Hoping more will become apparent as the game gets close to release.

I agree that upgrading can be a little confusing at first, but if you stick to stat building from the descriptions, you should be fine.
I agree. I admit I had some problems, but the way the hud treats being surrounded definitely helps you avoid getting trapped once you get used to it!
